I would love to see a cinematic tabletop game of One Page Rules Fantasy or Fantasy Skirmish, particularly with wood elves (not the trees).

All good, it was just an experiment. Later reports have more subdued ambient music more suitable for Mordheim.

Good to remember when Mercenary swordsmen attack and miss with a sword, they can reroll to hit. "Swordmaster" skill.

nice battle rep! btw, you cant attack enemy whos 2' from you if you have another enemy within 1' of you. rules forces you to attack nearest target within 1' if there is one :)

After watching all of your Warcry content, I want to specifically thank you for these "narrative/cinematic" battle reports like this one. I bet they are quite time consuming to produce, but I still hope you make another one of them at some point in the future.

Thanks, yes they take approximately 80 hours or so to put together. There will more cinematics in the future though.

Another good report! I have never played with the settlement supplemental rules. It seems like every time the warbands choose to visit, something awful happens, be it robbery, roofs collapsing, or surgical mishaps. Are there any good reasons to go? Also, I know witch hunters are limited to 5 war hounds, but skaven can take as many giant rats as their warband has room for, not just 5.

Yeah the settlements have a lot of BS to deal with, though also excellent shopping opportunities and potentially great housing options (e.g. tavern, warehouse, tunnels). The rat cap mentioned is merely referring to Simmo only having 5 rat minis. Thanks for watching!

PSA: It has come to my attention that the sound of chirping birds give a number of viewers the screaming sh!ts. If you count yourself among one of those easily irritated by the sounds of nature, perhaps skip ahead to campaign game 7 (kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXzde5ymiJ5qZqs) and onward where lavaliere mics and post-production sound processing eliminates all background sounds. That is all.

Correction: during the video the 6th Fallschirmjäger Regiment are introduced as the 6th Fallschirmjäger Division. This is incorrect as there's quite a bit of a difference between a regiment and a division, which is typically made up of 3 regiments. Derp!

Facing skaven is like facing a big wave: you have to rush towards it as fast as you can to get to it early, or else it crushes you. Skaven obliterate anyone playing defensively and conservatively, but they rout very very quickly if you go directly for the kills, and they're not hard to kill. They're the psychological warfare faction in this way.

I think I know why we couldn't find the "no animals!" rule. A lot of the time we reference a rather condensed version of the rules in the form of Quick Reference Sheet, including the scenario rules (which don't specify the bit about animals).

The only warband using which I reliably beat the Eshin Skaven was the Undead, mostly due to the vampire and my fast dog. But yes, they are such a pain to face...
