Those glaciers are stunning. And now I know why the water is that colour - thank you. When Albo deprives you of heat, I think he is trying to tell you to do your own hiking, he would prefer to stay at the bottom of the mountain. But it is a relief that you have lost the habit you had earlier in the trip of leaping into every body of water you encountered.

What amazing landscapes! Those switchbacks must be pretty much unmatched anywhere else - I thought that the Stilfser Joch/Passo dello Stelvio had breathtakingly tight switchbacks, and so many of them, but this is in another league! Thanks for the wonderful filmography! All the best!

Thanks for showing this beautiful part of Peru in your videos. It brings a lot of memories back from times were we cycled across these passes a few years ago. Of course it took us more time to to enjoy even much more of those scenic roads also going around this fantastical mountain range. Getting in contact with the local people may to be easier going by bike. We were often invited to taste home-brewed Chicha and other food. But anyhow a visit of this region is highly recommended. There are a lot of pre-inca ruins to visit as well.

Peru is AMAZING! Your video should be on National Geographic. A large part of Peru is the Andes mountains, they have a large tropical coastline, and half of Peru is part of the Amazon. Peru has very diverse landscape. Thank you for showing us some of this. It's incredible and so are both of you! 👍🏻👍🏻❤🙏🏻

The most miles traveled for the shortest distance gained. The drone shot in fast foreword looked like a marble game. I liked the way Mathilde was smiling when she said she was sorry. Those are some tough folks too live in that terrain wow!

These mountains defy comparison or even description. They are majestic, and maybe even terrifying a bit. BTW/If faced with a cold night camping or in a car, eating peanuts really IS a good thing to do. Loading up with a good meal and even some snacks will fuel your body to keep your core warm in the cold, allowing you to sleep better. It's one of the things I learned about cold-weather camping. Plus, you get to pig out on snacks -- with a good excuse!

Cuando estan frente a imagenes muy impactantes, seria interesante que le agreguen algunos segundos mas.... Estar frente a esas bellezas naturales bien vale que sean con mas exposicion.... Do you think that an eco-community - ecotown - could be a good idea in the mountains of Peru ? Not as high as the elevation your were trekking, I mean lower elevation. Do you think that it could be a good spot as vacation houses or living abroad for French people ? Good or Bad idea ? Do french people would really invest their money in a piece of land surrounded by neighbours who also speak french ? That is an idea that have been flying around in my mind the last years. It is feasible from the point of view of building it , but DO NOT KNOW if people from Europe will come to Peru to live here. Really do not know

Hi David, I do not know and not sure of the market around that kind of project. It is so far from Europe that it is not necessary easy for people to just jump on a flight and then do the long drive to those regions. In addition gated communities are a bit less common and appreciated I think in Europe compared to the USA. But that again is a personal observation and might be wrong. Probably the main challenge is that it is too far from Europe. maybe easier to access from the USA.
