I mean like that will get you killed in war and peace... Hinde why the uS has always interccpting every rival when it gets close to US land/waters/airpspace/space space... Like how do they know it';s not on it's way to hit someesalse more uimportant then a bunker or trench line? Also like all of Ukrianes commado raids with drones has been them not hitting the low hanging fuit they pass... They go for the big prised deep behind enemy lines... So yeah... Cappy is right... How do you know that is yours? Like they don't have transponders or even blue and gold type for ukriane... So that to me seems like one of he worst warcrimes... Not being in your uniform when active duty on station... As if anyone exploted this it would be choas as the Gazans found out duiring Isrealis Hamas campaign... Odd that ukriane and Russia has realized this yet... and using airsoft milseim tape like they already do as they all have the same camo is evidence of this... Also it would make drone much less terrorfiing as you would no if it's your or not... Also it would cut down on the freijdly fire wars from spooked infary waging a war with the drone iperators as nether can see the others insimnga aand the drone operators can';t be using camara that are anything but otter trash.. So yeah they really should use tape as insigna for their drones it;s only a net postive...

Phenomenal video. Hits on a personal note of the real stress these guys face 24/7. Would love to have you do a video covering the difference you experienced see the fighting in this war vs what you saw in the US Infantry. Just seeing the expression on your face in this video suggests it would be pretty somber, but I think it would be important to all the folks used to “video game warfare “ that Americans have seen in the past. Huge appreciation for the risk you took to do this.

I'm an average 11C infantryman from the 1980s. Some things seem the same and others seem like science fiction. The ability of the drones has changed the battlefield in ways I couldn't have imagined back in the day. It seems like the difference between WWII and my time in the Army in the 80s. It's roughly the same amount of time from the 40s to the 80s as from the 80s to the 2020s. It's surreal to be able to see the front lines in videos like this and others. I've been watching a couple of ukrainians reporting on the war since total war began. My biggest disappointment has been that we have not given the ukrainians everything they needed with no restrictions faster than we did. I feel like we could have done better. I was just out of the army when the Warsaw pact and Soviet Union fell but in the back of my mind I always felt that Russia was not going to just fade away into history and that one day something like this would happen. It's unfortunate that we cannot find some way to share this world without killing each other. ☮️

Thanks Chris, glad you made it out safe and well. An Australian teacher fighting for Ukraine’s foreign legion has just been captured by Russian forces in the Donbas region. Thank you for this amazing work and footage of what Ukrainians go through on the front lines. Please, everyone, keep on supporting the just fight of these brave Ukrainians fighting for their home lands.

Huge respect for doing this, and even more respect for these soldiers, who clearly have the hearts of lions. Seeing that makes their situation seem even more tragic to me. I would also not want my country to be governed by some corrupt oligarch in Moscow. But I don't think I'd lay down my life fighting for it to instead be controlled by a corrupt oligarch in Kiev. I'm not saying there's no difference; of course there is. I'm Czech, and my own dad remembers the Reich - being bullied by Hitler youth - and he was an adult when the Soviets rolled their tanks into Czechoslovakia in 1968, simply to crush our hope of even a sliver of autonomy. It's demoralizing and bitter to be occupied. But it's also kind of abstract. I was born well after 1968, in a country that wasn't rich, but it also wasn't a bombed out place with blackouts and minefields, a country from which the women and kids had fled, and the men were wounded and traumatized. Yes, we spent the 20th century mostly occupied, with that occupation being largely militarily unopposed. It's bad for the soul, maybe. But I don't think that our souls were really occupied. Just our political offices were. I think it's important that we actually have some old buildings still standing, not just cemeteries in which we honor the valor of the fallen. If things played out slightly differently, we could have been nominated in 1938 to be the nation that gets to throw our bodies into the teeth of a much larger war machine. The Munich conference is still called a betrayal, but what would have happened to my country if France and Britain "supported" us instead of "selling us out"? Would they have given us what we needed to defeat the Wehrmacht? Of course not. They would have supported us just enough to keep fighting and dying, while they celebrate how the massacres of the Czechoslovaks are sapping Hitler's strength. That's exactly what the EU and USA are doing now to Ukraine, and boy did the Ukrainians deliver! They are pretty heroic - nobody could doubt that. But if you zoom out, I hope you understand why their lion-hearted heroism seems so tragic to me.

I've been following the war in Ukraine since 2014 every day, and even more so since the invasion. Somehow, i've only siscovered this gem of a channel today. Better late as never. Dude, you've got a big pair! Also, my thanks to you for showing rhe world what is going on there and why it is important that Ukraine wins. Ukraine today is Austria in the 1930's. You don't stop wars by giving a conqueror what he wants. You only start more of them. Russia must be stopped in Ukraine.

Germany in the 30s wanted to conquer the whole world. Russia, at most, wanted to restore the USSR, but the Russians do not have the strength for that. The EU and NATO do not pose any threat to them. They are more threatened economically by China.

Hi Chris, I think you have found your Calling. This series has been the best Front Line War Reporting I think I have ever seen. You are a natural for this type of work. You’re Brave, have Combat experience, and huge Balls to boot. Outstanding Reporting Chris. It was good to see what the Brave Ukrainian Soldiers are going through. This needs to be seen by the whole World. Maybe they would do a better job of supporting Ukraine. Thanks Chris, I’m glad you made it through it ok. Thanks also to the Ukrainian Heroes.

See, it ain't about if Ukraine gonna defeat Russia-it’s about when. You ever seen a scrappy little dog go up against a big, mean pit bull, and everybody’s like, "Oh, that little dog don’t stand a chance"? But that little dog got heart, got determination, and it’s biting ankles like it’s trying to win a gold medal? That’s Ukraine right now. Russia out here flexin’ like they got all the power, but Ukraine’s got strategy, got grit, and a whole lot of folks cheering them on. They ain't just fighting for land; they fighting for freedom, dignity, and to say, "We ain’t backing down from no bully!" And when you fight with that kind of spirit? Oh, you’re bound to win. It’s just a matter of time.

@@mitchyoung93 Right Russian tr8ll with a western name in their user name. Why would a front line video about drones show anything about draft resisters and deserters? Need to work on your skills Ivan. Better fighting to protect your home than being a stooge for a power hungry dictator.

@@mitchyoung93 Every war has em like Donald Trump, the ugly truth is that draft service in Ukraine is a communist leftover that dehumanizes people and is deeply integrated in the army structure because its it own branch which makes them quite sketchy and predatory. Recruitment Centres are becoming more popular and actually get willing people into brigades that will take care of them. But yes allot of veterans wont go back untill corruption within the army is not resolved
