I have a fascination for farmsteads like yours. I'm so sorry to hear your husband got sick. I'm sending so much love to you and healing vibes for your husband's full recovery.

Just found your channel and I find that really interesting as I am an artist too (my channel is Ödulcina scrap) and almost 2 years ago already, I have quit my IT job ( a 19 years career), sold our big house with a big mortgage, bought a dept free abandoned farm and started a homestead. What a change of life! I have no regrets, it feels to me like if I am on a year long vacation and I live from my art (selling digitals on Etsy and my creations). I love what you are building, will watch all of your videos … 3 years to watch! 😮

I've just newly started following you but have started watching your videos right from the beginning, and I just wanted to say how wonderful it is to see your garden just so full of life and colour! How different from when you first moved in! Look forward to seeing the other videos too and hopefully it won't be too long before I'm caught up. I haven't watched your newest videos but I see you you are expecting a baby, so congratulations on that, and hope all goes well 💕

Garden looks fantastic. One of my friends got encephalitis from a tick when she was a child. Very nasty. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Saw your copy of Holmgren’s Permaculture Principles on your table. You don’t seem to mention permaculture that much, but it is OBVIOUS anyway that this an important influence. We live quite close to David and Su’s longtime property Melliodora. Young friends of ours lived there for 12 months or so. They bought David over to our place. Wow! Best wishes from the other side of the world.

Definitely a huge influence in the design and thinking process behind everything here! That's so great you live close by David Holmgren and have met him!! They have a made a beautiful productive place themselves

I live in a nearby town and have had the joy of visiting David and Su when I did my own permie course. Its been a delight seeing your garden developing so beautifully. I am glad Jonas is getting better, it must have been challenging for both of you. And I am sorry your little canine friend is no longer visiting, you obviously have a lovely bond. Warm regards from Australia.

Dat is schrikken! Ik hoop dat Jonas zich snel weer helemaal goed voelt. Wij hebben in Nederland een vaccinatie gehad tegen teken encefalitis omdat het hier in Letland ook voorkomt. Jullie tuin is echt prachtig! Een inspiratiebron voor ons voor volgend jaar 😃

On the upside of the condition from the tick. Red meat can't be consumed fish and poltery are ok. And some pork is ok. Its a type of deer tick that causes this in some ppl.

Can I purchase one of your prints on line. Love the greenhouse. Do you have a farmers market on the Island. Will you you be taking your veggies and flowers to the market. Zinnias make great cut flowers. We finally got the Historical Preservation/Architectural Review Commission to allow us to build our Strawbale house in the historical district of Marysville Ca. That was a four months wait. Now we have to get the city planning commission to approve our plans and we can start. Glad to here Jonas is out of the hospital.

Hi! Thanks for your lovely comments! I'm working on a webshop but for now you can find my prints in my Etsyshop(link in the discription below the video's) There was a little farmers market on the island but not sure if it's still going on actively at the moment. I'm considering maybe to invite people in the weekend to harvest their own blooms. Great you're also will start a strawbale house! (in our case reedbales)very exciting! Good luck , I hope to see the result one day.

How can you possibly eat all your produce? Do you ofrer some for sale at a local market?❤
@The.Land.of.Slow.Living Жыл бұрын
Believe me it takes quite an amount if we want to eat year-round from our produce in this climate :p But I'm also planning on growing some for another family living near by!

Headaches, fatigue Does he have dizzyness and cold sweats. I would talk to a cardiovascular Doctor. Could be something serious or something treatable.
