Tyler if i can give you any advice on your vasectomy. Make sure stay on the couch for at least 4-5 days. I tried to go back to work after a couple days because i felt better and that was a big mistake. Eventhough, my job requires me to sit at a desk for most of the day it did not end well. Trust me take it easy your boys will thank you.

It is cheap, a very minor procedure, can be reversed if desired, and is pretty much provides 100% certainty that you will not end up with a lifetime committment or minimum 18 years of child support. Never have to worry about some other form of birth control failing (or getting trapped into a pregnancy).

#1 - Check for valve spring coil bind - a valvespring that goes into coil bind will break rockers every time #2 make sure you're using LONG SLOT rockers so that the rockers aren't hitting the studs (check for marks on the studs) and #3) make sure you've got enough valvespring pressure to control the valve as losing control of the valvetrain will beat things up and could cause things to break - if you verify all of that there is no reason the valvetrain should have any more issues.

Would it just be easier to just put in roller rockers? Always solved broken rockers (if the above things all check out you mentioned) in my experience as high lift and or long duration cams are hard on stock rockers because of the lift rates. Plus you have the added benefit of lightening the valvetrain.

@@herb4991 Yes full roller rockers usually accommodate much higher lift camshafts than stamped steel rockers. Really the only reason to run the stamped steel / roller tip rockers is to meet some sanctioning body rules that require "stock style stamped rockers" or if you can't fit rollers under the valve cover and don't want to run taller valve covers.

I had my vasectomy 45 years ago,they don't even do it like they used to now,i'm having real surgery on monday,i have a broken neck and i am having my spine operated on first thing monday morning,it's either getting it done or things will get worse,i cannot walk right now,that might not change but i am losing the use of my hands and arms,at least i have a good chance of getting those back. good luck on your op.

It's ok hoovie I also had a life changing surgery yesterday after a nasty car accident 2 weeks back. Someone pulled out without looking into the main road and I was coming along at 60kmh. Bent my daewoo like a banana anyway the firewall crushed my foot in the accident so now I have more metal in me that the 6 million dollar man lol. A practical point here all things considered: if the next wife is of breeding age, she’s gonna want a bebeh. Reversing a vasectomy is major surgery, and not always effective, after major ball surgery. Vasectomies themselves are no big deal, I drove myself home from mine. I’d hold on until life settles down a bit myself. Assuming you take medical advice from KZbin commenters, you might want to take a step back ;) .

I hope everything goes well for you in your operation and the future. I’ve had troops, I won’t tell where the first one was? And had a kidney biopsy and had to lay still for 8-12 hrs …. Otherwise I could have bled out… lol and now going through a relapse but no condition changes yet. So I wish you the best and if the dr comes in smelling of hay, then you’re at the vets…and be careful if they bring in 2 bricks or just 2 elastic bands…. Lol
