I’m new to your channel it all makes sense on what you’re saying about the knife that you want to rely on when you have a life situation to get fire and shelter great video thanks will keep watching your videos

Eagle...great video always have enjoyed your forward thinking perspective. What would be your secondary survival. Example: Mine is Esse 5 & Ontario Rat 7 followed by a huntsman victorinox. Merry Christmas

Nice one buddy I love the 5, being a bit smaller than you though my survival knife is a Laser strike, it's about 90% full tang and a beautiful size to carry around. Nice vid 👌 great points

Thanks for dropping by Steve, I never had a go of the Laser Strike but I always meant to try it.

It's got its down sides, but you know horses for courses, and it's got emergency tinder in the handle too

I have a laser strike that I love, I always wanted to try the 5, but I heard it is bulky and heavy, and I never purchased it. But I agree with your point of view. What do you think about the jaakaripukko in alternative?. Here in Italy we have oak woods, the wood is very hard so carry a very strong knife is a good Idea. I never participated in survival courses, but I'm really interested in it.

Brilliant knife but the handle is too small for my hand.
