Time to fire a bit at those: 1st: No, you would not connnect a wire to the gate because the gate itself would be the conductor for the electricity so it woun't flow through the burglars bodies 2nd: Same, the nail is the conductor, no shocking surprise 3th: Well, if your fan is strong enough, that would work 4th: Again, no electricity flowing through the body of the one activating the trap. A doubled tripwire would be alright, but not exactly effective. especially not with a car battery xD 5th: No problems here, getting a 1:8 helicopter flown in your face is certantly enough to make any burglar flee 6th: Also fine, but instead of using fireworks, you could do pretty much anything else that is more effective and does not make such a mess. Also, what about the other two burglars? ;) 7th: Perfectly fine choice and probably the first clever thing in this quiz to do for defending yourself 8th: Ah, getting better^^ Also a good choice for defense i guess. A bit of a mess but definitly something you can do for your securitys sake 9th: Don't use a bear trap at all. I don't know how it's in the US but here in Germany you can get charged for taking inapropriate steps to your defense. Setting up a bear trap is not apropriate 10th: Ehm... i did not want to say this, but don't use a fucking flamethrower, a weapon that is so destructive and incontrollable that it's forbidden from using it in wars. It's so bad that nations that go to war made a law against it. A law. In war. So don't fucking use it on two burglars *sigh* call the police and hide, and if you absolutely need to, use simple methods of keeping them busy, away from you and try to gain time for the police to arrive. I brought this up because this is a vid that asks of you to think logically. So that i did.

Funny story..I was EMPLOYED by a private juvenile detention center. I worked the graveyard shift. The company thought we didn’t have a lot to do since the offenders were “asleep”. Mind you, graveyard shift is when there’s a skeleton staff and all the escape plans go into effect. So it may not seem like we’re busy w activities, but our eyes and ears were aware of everything. Nonetheless, the company wanted more. So we were forced to sell.... MAGAZINES on the phone all night as well as work our regular job. 😂 If we refused, we were let go. I was working 2 jobs and only getting paid for one. I showed up to work, was locked behind razor wire w juveniles (usually gang members) that wanted to kick my ass and escape, only to put my headset on and sell magazines all night🤦♀️! Yup. Violent incidents increased. Escape attempts went up. We were held responsible. The company finally got caught and was shut down. Prisons, juvie centers... all double dipping. I think my job had it backwards. Shoulda made the delinquents sell magazines. Not the employees.

Electricity does not work like that. Current would not flow through the person due to them wearing rubber boots and electricity taking the path of least resistance. Instead the current would flow through the metal door handle, pot handle, or gate and back to the other end of the wire, completing the circuit as seen with Ohm's Law. The battery would also not work since you would need a either a transformer to step up the voltage to overcome skin resistance to shock the person ( this is what they do in police tasers), or a super battery only used in the power supply industry that weigh thousands of pounds.
