When collecting leaf branches for the swedish midsommarstång I was using a small one handed axe and I used another transport method. I got a long branch and laid it down and then laid the rest horizontal across it, then grabbed the ends of the long branch and it held it all together like a rope bundle, worked well! But the axe method might be better for pine and such that might hurt holding in your hand. Good video!

Hello there Lars, hope all's well. A useful tip from the Evenki people, but what if the axe was needed when it's loaded with spruce branches ? Better to use a stick a bit like a pot hanger, it would do the same job and the axe will still be free to use if needed 👌🏻
