I love survival reality shows (for entertainment more than instruction), and when I first watched Dual Survival I didn't really "get" Cody. But rewatching the series now, Cody is awesome, practical, and creative. Love watching his vids!

Good stuff! Alot of people knock this "survival" stuff, but I think they just may not be stopping to think about it... I mean pretty much everyone has insurance of some type, right? Auto, home, health, etc... so why not insure yourself and your family for the worst, simply by being prepared? Best insurance is preparedness and self-reliance...

Cody's wealth of knowledge seems endless...awesome. This guy couldn't get a date in college living in a hut...oh man...the one that got away. Imagine had he found one cool gal to hang in his hut, she'd be hooked up and a guy like him would be forever grateful and most likely trust worthy. My how times are changing...again.

@cdltpx I agree...Cody is living proof of his experiences (the real deal). People have been torn down and rebuilt around the dollar. Cash won't rule when it is valueless in a busted economy, but it seems your head is on straight. People will need to understand we will all be in it together and surviving together will make a difference in our wills to want to live. That money cannot buy. Lastly: we will be judged by our care and extensions towards all livings things and how we lived doing it.

@prairiefirewildernessskills7 жыл бұрын
TJack Survival Four to a quart or liter.
@wmluna3812 жыл бұрын
You're usually supposed to add more bleach if the water is turbid/not clear. If it's generally clear, 2 drops per quart or liter will suffice. So 4 would be best if the best you can do is source murky H20.

@seymourbbest Having a unique style is nothing more than a simple way to filter out all the airhead chicks. Might not help you nail random girls from the bar, but it's quality that ultimately counts...at least you can stand talking to them afterwards. Although, as Stalin said, quantity does have a quality all its own.

@prairiefirewildernessskills7 жыл бұрын
The Humble Prepper If the bottle is BPA free it's fine, but the average soda bottle is a no go.
@thehumbleprepper37347 жыл бұрын
Ahhh ok Thanks for letting me know. I'll be after BPA free from now on.
@gavocrazy7 жыл бұрын
The Humble Prepper Some containers are "one time use only" and will leech chemicals into the water in the container with repeated use. Same goes if the bottles are left in the sun. But we're exposed to the shit all the time. Surely after many years of repeated exposure it can't be healthy, but in short term survival, you can disinfect water in plastic two liters in the sunlight. Cody's book goes into it in much greater detail. So you've got Dying of dehydration or messing your pants to death by some water born pathogen, vs. a bit more bpa and plastics exposure... And staying alive and hydrated. I'm gonna disinfect my water with the cheap bottle. Lesson here is in an emergency it works. Just don't use the method for years on end.
