What they still need to fix: 1. Riding animals shouldn't instantly kill you when you are going through some blocks 2. Food source animals should spawn near you (cows, moose and ECT) 3. Limit hostile animal spawn (Lion,wolf, tiger) near you

Survival Craft was the only Minecraft clone that wasnt a clone to me. It had alot of depth, especially for a clone AND mobile game. It also dives into alot of mechanics minecraft doesnt and not going to lie, the eletrical/wiring system in that game can do some crazy stuff. Tons of animals, behaviors, craftable weapons and armor, all slapped together with a somewhat challenging and slightly realistic health system. (I.E. You get hypothermia, or thirsty etc) Its worth the 3 bucks, not to mention the game has a built in map sharing page where you can try other peoples maps for free.

I remember survival craft, I remember being able to download maps but anything that was done to it by someone was also done for everyone else’s version of the map. So if you for example blew up spawn it would be blown up for everyone else who also had the map. It was pretty cool. I also remember blockheads, and I thought it was so cool that things in the furnace could smelt even when I was off the game.

I first started playing Survivalcraft on mobile when it first came out but only recently got it for Windows. I hadn't played it for a long time but this game is still just as awesome as I remember, personally I think some aspects of it are better than Minecraft like the fact that you can get sick if you get too cold. What makes it better is that it's part of the vanilla game without the need for mods. I subscribed because it's nice to see someone doing a series on this amazing game!

I never knew there was ever a community to SC. I used to play SC since like 2014 and randomly found it on the playstore. It is the best game too IMO. It isn't a "knockoff of MC". It never was meant to be. It has a lot of unique mechanics to it. I used to play it with my cousins by sharing tablets taking turns and building few creative cities. Over the time I have collected over 1000+ maps in my personal dropbox. It was peak tech then, MC wouldn't let you ever save your worlds everywhere on an iPad but SC did allow it on Dropbox. So I have maps from my 2014 days haha.

I used to play the original survivalcraft on my Ipad and thought it would be just a minecraft rip off but I was suprised to learn just how much more indept its mechanics were to MC at least back then. It also had an ingame library where you can share and download user created maps at teh touch of a button. It made making adventure a maps super easy thing to do.

Oh my god this game made my childhood. I was never able to get a phone or an ipad of my own till i was 15, so my childhood days were filled with lego, the TV, and survival craft on my dad’s phone. I wouldn’t get to play it often, as my dad was a busy man with lots of important stuff on his phone, so he often needed it, but when i could play on it, it made my week. At that time, for me, the graphics where top-notch, highest quality that you could get on the AppStore. Looking back, i kinda just acted like any other 6 year old playing games; i went into creative mode and spawned enough stuff to reduce the frames to Microsoft powerpoint and run my dad’s phone battery down in about an hour. God i wish i could be six years old again, not have a care in the world, the only worries were “when am i going to get my next lego set?” and “when will i be old enough to get a dog?”. 2014 was something else for me.
