Great video, my cache belt has become my favorite belt to wear.... As far as saws go, instead of carrying a wire saw in mines I actually have a buck saw blade, it fits nice and flat and when I'm wearing the belt I never even notice it's there... It conforms to the shape of my waste but snaps back flat when taken out... With this setup I can use it to cut sticks to make a proper bow saw or buck saw.... For my cutting blade I have a spiderco bug, which although small, is very useful for light wood processing or processing fish or small game, and it has an excellent 90 degree spine for striking the small Ferro rod I have in the belt, I also keep a mini bic lighter in the belt which fits perfectly as extra combustion device, since two is one and one is none....I also carry the water bag and tablet setup, and prefer to carry a tiny thumbtack compass from county comm... It is a dry compass and so is more reliable than the liquid filled ones, and is very accurate for getting general directions and at a fraction of the size much like the NATO Francis Barker escape and evasion compass.... In the buckle, instead of the little acrylic signal mirror I have a small stainless steel one that fits perfectly and is much flatter, which allows me to carry a small fresnel lense in the sleeve along with it...I simply took a regular fresnel lense and used the signal mirror to trace and cut out the very center of it in the same size and shape to fit perfectly in the buckle, and use as a third fire starter to use with the sun or for magnifying small things that I may need to read or see better.... Your imagination is the only limit with this belt... Great piece of kit.

I wonder if u could rig up that wire saw on a small stick under slight tension to use like a bow saw. I imagine that would heat the wire quicker but it would also keep it straight which may help it retain strength.

A frog hops into a bank and asks for a loan. He hops up to the teller and she's wearing a name badge, as they do, and it says 'Whack'. Mrs. Whack asks him "uhh how can I help you?" The frog says "I'd like to take out a loan." Mrs. Whack says "well, I've never heard of a frog taking out a loan before. But let's see if we can help you. For what is the purpose of this loan?" The frog says "Uh yeah, I'd like to take out a loan, for a Lily Pad." Mrs. Whack says "a lily pad? I don't... I don't know we've never... well we'll see. And what was your name, sir?" The frog says "My name is Kermit." Mrs. Whack says "wait a minute, you're not Kermit the Frog!" The frog says "No, no! I'm not Kermit the frog- I'm a Frog named after him. My name is Kermit Jagger." "Kermit Jagger?" "Yeah," said Kermit "I'm the son of Mick Jagger." "Wait a minute, you mean to tell me you're the son of Mick Jagger? The famous rock star?" He says "Yeah." So the Teller says "I don't know... well, what would you present as collateral?" The frog reaches into his pocket and pulls out this tiny, shiny pink elephant and hands it to Mrs. Whack. She looks at it and says "I have no clue what kind of collateral this could possibly be. Let me go speak to my manager." So she goes back and talks to her manager- he says to her "Patty! What are you doing back here?" She replied "sir, there's a frog out there says he's the son of Mick Jagger and he's here to take out a loan for a Lily Pad and he gave me this- well, I don't know, this thing, this shiny pink elephant. The bank manager takes it and holds it up to the light and says "You know what this is?!" She says "no!" He says "This is a Knick-knack, Patty Whack- Give that frog a loan, his Old man's a Rolling Stone!"

My joke: Look at our current regime. Yeah, it's a sick joke. Wire saws typically are easier to use when strung on a green stick. I made my own style of Wazoo belt about 20 years ago when I found a money-belt. Didn't have all the ideas or neat hardware (or money) back then; mine included a single-edged razor blade, some cut-down, waxed strike--anywhere matches (foleded in saran wrap and backed with a piece of duct tape), some foil, and a refolded emergency blanket. The Wazoo is a much better piece of kit, although they might want to try the emergency blanket idea (but powdered to keep it from sticking together).

Nylon money belts are the way to go ($ 10-15 on Azn). I added 10 feet of kevlar cord, $ 300 cash, scalpel blade, handcuff key. If you want to go classy, get a leather money belt and put the SOG Sync II on it for a buckle. The stuff he carries is more for a flight crew over enemy territory.

I enjoy the idea of this, but call BS on him using it... I can see where he packed his items and thats good... but what gave it away, hid BS was the fact he didn't see or noticed the bottle opener, you would of noticed that the 1 or 2nd time going to the jon, 2nd thing was the fire rod... it went from being the size of a penny to a pencil sized one... 3rd is the fact after a week or of usage you would see where he clamps his belt... which is not noticeable at all in any way, I paused the video looking for such signs... as far as that button compass goes they blow big time... better off with a dry one... But as I said I enjoy the idea of this belt, I personally would sooner have one made out of leather, with brass or stainless steel snaps vrs the velcro... the buckle i would want it a bit larger to hold not only the mirror but also a full sized compass, I would want slightly larger cariebeaners so I could attach item's easier, and I would 3x the water supply system he has, as well as try my best to fit in 3 or 4 large contractors bags in to it, even if it ment unfolding and then refolding them to fit... definitely having some duck tape wedge in ther too, and yes I know I'm to have to wrap it in on it's self... and the usual stuff stuffed inside,
