you mean pass up the opportunity to shoot hundreds in the head and not only avoid prosecution but be considered a hero for it? not a chance. In reality, society would only collapse if the zombie apocalypse was preceded by a highly contageous disease that killed off at least half of the population first, cause the zombies themselves won't be a problem, especially in a country with 340 million privately owned guns. even if nobody is there destroying them, it's not like they will last long, in cold climates they get destroyed when they freeze, in hot humid climates their bodies will become waterlogged and have the consistency of roast beef within a week, and in hot dry climates the moisture will quickly be wicked from their bodies until they are as stiff as firewood and unable to move without destroying their joints. Even in optimal climate conditions, their delicate eyes, inner ears, and nasal cavities will degrade rapidly and leave them unable to see, hear, or smell within days.

Going south or at least equatorially means more rapid decomposition (rotting) and would disable more zombies as you wouldn't need to run around knocking their frozen heads off. The "go north" theory is not well founded. However, going north will likely smell a lot better...

1) don’t use guns, because it’s a loud noise. 2) the loud noises can attract other zombies. 3) use some lightweight weapons: knives, hammer, bat, etc. 4) don’t go into a populated area, like New York, your survival instinct wont help much, too much zombies equals less survival percentage. 5) go into a country side. 6) wear sneakers. That’s all I know

Also, wear baggy and comfortables clothes so the zombies will have difficulties to bitted you and you will move better in evirovements. Don't trust anybody, just go away and make the less contact with people, only with the people that you genuinely know. Be mentally strong and physically strong too, prepare to see people die around you. The best weapon that you can probably have is a bow. Use wooden sticks to create a bow, or if not simply steal a weapon from someone in the government, but the weapon has to be silenced. Cut your hair, will be more comfortable. And think fast, you need to fast at everything. Also you have to have resistance when you falling from high places, know how to move and climb. And don't have a lot of empathy with people that you don't know. And being in groups with more than 2 people (counting yourself) will be worst because you will be more slow st everything. Just go with 1 person and that's it.

I love how in most the video they forgot about the zombies comeing from spores. So if the things from the mushroom is flying around in the air and are on zombies. Getting close is bad because the spores might get onto you. You you'd want to cover up as much skin as possible and move north because not only will it stop zombies, but the spores won't do well in a freezing climate

Guns... great idea... lemme grab something that will tell every zombie anywhere near me that I am there and generally where they can find me. Having a sidearm if things go south would be nice but killing them quietly would be MUCH better. Or just avoiding combat where possible. Also with Airborne spores a gas mask is a 100% needed item.

Cold climates that are coastal. perfect. During the winter fishing can be a life saver especially since the soot and aerosols put into the atmosphere by burning cities would trigger a mini ice age so don't count on growing anything anywhere poleward of 45 degrees, so being near the sea is quite important unless you legit have 10 years of food stockpiled and that is also only possible by boat anyways when there is no gas, no electricity, etc.
