Borrowed Time literally only works if your terror radius is near the hook and go after the unhooked survivor(meaning you can crouch with Pig and never trigger BT, or be invisible with Wraith). So simply keep your distance when you see someone go for the unhook, let Make Your Choice trigger and go for the guy that just unhooked the survivor. Taadaaaa, BT suddenly is no problem anymore. DS only works if you go after the unhooked survivor after they got unhooked. Not tunneling the unhooked survivor literally disables 2 out of 4 perks. Leaving only adrenaline and dead hard. Considering you can bait a dead hard by simply not attacking when you normally would, all you're left with, is adrenaline. Seriously, you commented to a comment with a comment that literally stabs yourself in the foot. Stop tunneling and camping, then those "second chance" perks wont even trigger for you. I have never been stabbed with DS unless I want them to, I have never triggered BT unless there were 2 survivors with the same cosmetics and both were injured(which, honestly, is the only way you should be triggering BT)

@@Predated2 So essentially give up a perk slot to run Franklins,something that doesn't stop survivors from simply picking the item back up. Make your choice is good,yet worthless on most of the mentioned killers as going back to the hook and finding the person who rescued generally takes more than the duration of MyC unless you are on Coal Tower,hence why MyC is ran mostly on Hag/Nurse. Enduring is a good perk,does nothing to help against DS. Discordance is only good at tier 1,and even then the information it gives can easily be dodged by competent survivors by baiting out the 8 second higlight. BT only triggers when it is crucial,yes. When you hook someone close to a vital generator,or in the middle of your 3-gen,and thus you have no reason to leave the general area due to having a tight patrol to run. Pig crouching works,Wraith stealth needs 3-4 seconds after you go invisible to actually negate BT,as proven by Otz's latest 'Anti-Blendette Build' Video,during the Haddonfield game'. Playing any of the killers i mentioned,you go for the MyC,waste the entire timer because you get Jungle Gymmed as a stupid m1 killer (With the exception of a good Huntress,but at that point you do not even proc Make your Choice with hatchets,so there is that). DS only works if you go after the unhooked,exactly. Shame the unhooked have an invincibility barrier for 60 seconds by either locker-hopping when the killer finds them to force a DS,or getting slugged and using UB to demolish any Tempo the killer built. 'Not tunneling' the hooked survivor when they make their presence known by making a missplay is essentially being forced to give them a second chance because you do not want to deal with BT,DS,and possibly Unbreakable/Head-on if they run Head-On/DS and go for the Jund tech. By your great logic,a killer should not capitalize on idiots making mistakes,to have healthy counterplay against crutch perks that are used to bully killers more than they are used to avoid actual tunneling. Incredible. It must be a miracle how you never had any issues with the aforementioned perks,when every high ranking killer main runs into them constantly and calls out how their use shifted from anti-tunneling to bullying killers and making idiotic plays without consequence. You must be the ascended form of Zubat or something.

It can be fun however there are a lot of shitty aspects, especially if you want to play killer. If you play killer you'll be stuck getting looped around pallets for ages and a lot of the time if you're playing against people doing survive with friends the games can be virtually unwinnable. Overall it's a good game but don't get it unless you're willing to put up with some bullshit.

This was around the time I started playing the game. It was such a different time, lol. Things were both better and worse in a sense. I think it was pretty survivor sided back then actually. Especially the DS. Having Otz not hit the skillcheck was very odd. 😂 God this game has really changed. But it has changed over time, making the changes not very visible at first glance.
