Patch v257 finds its way buzzing onto the ARK with hives worth of content, featuring four new creatures, TEK cloning chamber, advanced TEK warfare in the form of a new turret, a TEK saddle, and a grenade; not to mention a UI overhaul, updated music tracks, the volcano redesign, the TEK Cave, Ascension for end game progression, TheCenter mega update, and many more magical things!

We've had a good chunk of the story already in the explorer notes. At least, Helena has uncovered most of the truth already. Rockwell has been writing down a lot on the whole artifact thing and how it can summon bosses. But I'm interested in the final pieces of the story too. Let's hope they release the remaining notes in this or the next patch :D

I heard that Ascension is a new pvp mechanic where you rise and actually become the glitch. There are 4 classes to choose from - The Rubber band, The Timeout, The Snap Point and The Wildcard Troll which is a variety of all the other glitches you can use against your opponents. I have to say, Im very happy with this update. When people say RIP ARK, don't listen to them. You have the potential to become the best game of the 21st century. (Im just a bit annoyed how the tek boss isn't that thing that can shape shift that was in the dev files, and that ending...) (you should also add a creative game mode, no more host bubble, and listen to suggestions for the game. It'll do you well).

The Tek Cave is still one of the biggest missed opportunities on the Island. It should've been a tough cave with some of the best loot. As it stands it's just a cave you're forced to walk through if you want to fight the boss. It's not hard. It's just annoying with zero rewards.

The 15 extra levels is only for ascending, beating the boss. That has nothing to do with the poor design of the cave before it.

To achieve Ascension you must defeat all 3 of the main Bosses, descend into the incredibly hard Volcano Cave, fight the Ultimate 4th Boss, discovering the true nature and purpose of the Ark, and your character will "Ascend". During Ascension your character is sacrificed and reincarnated in a new, Lvl 1 body, but with a Lvl cap 5 levels higher. You can do this up to three times, increasing your Lvl cap to 105, 110, and finally 115. Basically think of it as "New Game+" mode.

Haven't played for months since I platinumed it. But credit to Wildcard, most studios would have made fans pay a season pass fee for all the recent tek and new dino updates. Audacity If they optimize before the game is finished the work will practically be undone within a few updates. Unless you want the game's final release to take a significantly longer time, they should not focus on optimization until the final stages pre-release. They do minor improvements almost every patch anyway. The big ones will come, just be patient.

Not really just spawn in,tame as many trikes as possible,farm up c4 in a hidden base somewhere in the jungle dont hit the trees and reveal your location,go find some alpha bases,tank bullets with trike,c4 in while they are offline and steal kits change name,rinse and repeat and get some friends on

EOG Shogun when you say "we" you mean the minority. The flyer nerf made grinding harder, and the flying dinos weaker, which they should have been. Get on a carno and grow up, your pteradon with 1k melee isn't the meta anymore, get over it.

You may need to completely reset your games data. So you may lose your saved games but it should fix the problem I believe
