The Virgin Transhumanism Fears death and seeks to avoid it. Lives only for pleasure. Easily manipulated and controlled by threats of witheld pleasure, death, or anything in between. Has no higher purpose. Still totally subservient to someone else's. Can't even choose whose. Still dies. Vs. the Chad Heroism. Faces, accepts, and transcends death. Lives for family, kin, nation, honor and gods. Finds satisfaction through struggle, discomfort, pain, and sacrifice to achieve noble objectives. Laughs at threats, rushes into danger to retaliate against them. Free by nature, willingly accepts hierarchy in order to better destroy enemies. Nice one but remember the tranhumanist does not have to be a virgin to a total loser. Transhumanist Chad can have "safe" sex with a huge range of partners and if he gets only pleasure but leaves no issue, he is no better than a eunuch and his ancestors weep in their shame. A virgin who has no fear of death and dies bravely for his family or people before he can leave issue has still done more biologically.

This is an excellent video about an important topic. I'll just add this: Honorable deaths can take many forms. Socrates, for example, died while conversing with his friends about the immortality of the soul. He had no fear while his friends wept. His last words were his request for his friends to make an offering to Asclepius, God healing. Facing death without fear helps the spirit ascend to a higher form of being. The example of Socrates is important for pagans living in times of relative peace. The most important battle where you must prove your valor is when you face death, be that on the battlefield or in a final moment of farewell when you part ways with your loved ones. Do so while overcoming fear.

I worked on this 6:22. I called it 'Transcendence Through Experience'. Experience forms a medium through which we cultivate insight. I also say "Death is a Natural aspect of Life' or 'death is a natural part of Life'. Death is the complementary opposite of life, but the world, or cosmos has an inherent Tension, and what we think of as 'evil', 'death', and 'decay' are necessary and natural outcomes of that tension, because that tension is necessary. It wasn't until Rome made it an official religion of the empire that you see the pagan influences come in to make it palatible for all the masses. So whatever traditions you followed and whatever gods you worshipped would be intergrated into the Christian religion. So the christians strayed from the doctrines Jesus taught and fell into an apostasy. As for it not being Indo-European, the Northern tribes of Israel were enslaved by the Assyrian empire sometime around 700BC and many were relocated to the area north and east of the Black Sea and would be part of that great migration to the west into Europe.

The most precious thing in life is its uncertainty. Consider living creatures-none lives so long as man. The May fly waits not for the evening, the summer cicada knows neither spring nor autumn. What a wonderfully unhurried feeling it is to live even a single year in perfect serenity! If that is not enough for you, you might live a thousand years and still feel it was but a single night's dream. We cannot live forever in this world; why should we wait for ugliness to overtake us? The longer man lives, the more shame he endures. To die, at the latest, before one reaches forty, is the least unattractive. Once a man passes that age, he desires (with no sense of shame over his appearance) to mingle in the company of others. In his sunset years he dotes on his grandchildren, and prays for long life so that he may see them prosper. His preoccupation with worldly desires grows ever deeper, and gradually he loses all sensitivity to the beauty of things, a lamentable state of affairs.

I think coping can be eased by believing that a dead loved one is "in a better place" -- whether a Heaven-style afterlife or reincarnaton. Sure, I am no beeter off without them, but some joy can be derived from enjoying in the "success" of those you care for.

I have my spiritual belief about death but I have a practical view of it as well. In 40 short years my children will have children and it will be time for me to get out of their way. My job on this earth is to reproduce, civilize my progeny, advise my progeny on the civilizing of their progeny, and then die. It was my world for a while, but that time must come to an end.

I was born with a memory of a previous death, which came to me in a dream when I wear just four years old. It was all very clear and specific, rather than vague and shadowy. My dreams are usually very desaturated and incoherent, liked I'm wandering around completely detached and just watching things happen, but occasionally, I'll have one that's colorful, and not at all random or incoherent, but very specifically detailed, and I believe these are memories.

Death shouldn't be feared. I could be wrong but I have a feeling our pagan ancestors had the view that if they win battles and wars, they win and if they die in battle, they still win. That's possibly one of the reasons death wasn't feared and it's quite an incredible way of thinking actually, no wonder why they were some of the most prolific people in history.

There is no shame in pleasures and desires. However, building your life solely on those will submit you to them and, paradoxically, deprive you from both. And neither are possible without pain and fears.

As a Christian, I say that it is not punishment in death we fear, but rather the existential nihis of being enslaved to our meaningless passions, at this we burn in anguish before the truth of the Word, Logos. To have faith in truth is to become like its virtue, key of all grace. In this there is no longer any death, but only an agless, eternal inheritance of light consisting in the very substance of meaning. This virtue is the increase of the praise of the glory of our creator in the ordinal offering of ourselves as pure and set apart for the service of the Word in grace. This kind of death is not to be accepted. But by this law of freedom in truth through fait we are ressurected into the age of ages.

I think the fundamental difference between me and the common academic view of life is that I view the very first life form to the very last life form to be a single organism, connected by bloodline. I think odin's ravens are the most poignant metaphor to explain this. I also think the story of the first sin in the Bible pretty accurately describes when everything took a turn and religion went from a symbolic representation of the human condition to a psyop designed to control through fear and empty promises. Just pay close attention to the language used. People used to believe that the allfather used thought and memory to explore the world before returning each night. Ie, we are the ravens, qnd returning to odin is death. Then some Semitic woman realized she was going to die and started making sure everybody else knew it and used this new fear to manipulate them. Now, as a society, we still have the fear of death, but we've realized the promises weren't true, so people need to find another way to cope. Rather than look at the reality that people have understood for eons, they just look for new false promises. Or, more frustratingly, they'll do psychedelics and come to the correct conclusion about life, but miss the importance of death.

I tried exploring and thinking over how Death gives meaning to Life. If the situation was reversed, where Life is eternal and Death is only temporary - would you say Life gives meaning to Death? No - you'd call it a disease, a problem, something that robs people of their freedom. If Death gives meaning to Life, we wouldn't exert it upon others as a punishment or do our utmost to avoid it or defeat it. Death takes away from us brilliant minds, wonderful performers, people who hold great potential and bring the vibrancy of Life to our Lives that we cherish so much. So; Death does not give meaning to Life - it takes it away. The universe seeks to destroy us through natural means and entropy - we must overcome them. Humanity's destiny is personal ascension, cultural homogenization and optimization through biological apotheosis. We have the will and power to defy the reality that never wanted us to exist in the first place.

Some immortals only wish they could die. It's their greatest dream. This is why some gods and angels envy the human condition, because life is so precious and has a special beauty because everything passes away. I'm cool with this. The consciousness that is afforded by a human body is pretty remarkable. Continually amazed at its capability and its resilience. I'm discovering new things all the time. It is also clearly not mine. And I am just looking through it. it doesn't have to be that big of a deal. The idea of being a rebel, because of this condition, sounds pretty cool though. I'm in.

@9:00 Look at the robots mankind create and compare them to organisms as complex as man. Organisms are infinitely superior to anything we have designed. Thinking that the human brain which created the computers is the result of infinite "perfect accidents" is like looking at your lap top and thinking "the big bang created this. Some rocks exploding in space and accidentally smashing together created this computer." We are the creator of the computer. We are superior. However something far superior to us must have designed us to be this way. How can people look at life and see how perfect it is and think it happened by infinite accidents, but then look at a cheap technological imitation and think that "this is intelligent design."

I wish I could be there for this exchange of dialogue. I am from a tribe in the northeast of India that is a beautiful amalgamation of our traditional religion of animism with Hinduism. I am fascinated by paganism and how, having developed in places so far apart, our gods, prayers and beliefs at large are so similar.

@Nihilistic Misanthrope How do you know that "it scientifically is the end"? Have you experienced death before? Or do you simply believe "it scientifically is the end" without knowing it is? I do not know for certain that "it is the end of your body, but your soul will live on afterwards", but rather I believe that statement without knowing whether or not I'm right because I am alive as of now and thus know nothing about being dead. But neither do you. You also know nothing about being dead and thus you believe "it scientifically is the end" without knowing whether or not it is.

@Nihilistic Misanthrope Science isn't ultimate truth. It's us slowly trying to learn how our world works and is being updated regularly. Plus we can only perceive such a small part of our own world. Some animals have many more senses or better senses than we do, so ruling out spirits/souls/whatever is like us ruling out germs or atoms because we can't see it
