I personally don't think so, as a new viewer. The way I see it, he has an old school play style in a sense however his content is Ur typical modern day KZbin movie esque for games where things are meant to look better and neater instead of simple or typical.

Well the lush caves after all are meant to be its own self sustaining environment just underground instead. What makes it far better is that U tend to also cross unique mobs in caves this way which are far more common and just add to the environments of caves. Axolotls and glow squids or even normal squids, the rare or occasional slimes, natural cave, light sources to which make it so you don't have to or need to place torches to see in parts of the cave and it's another way to reduce hostile mobs spawning in parts of the caves as well.

I recently discovered this channel. It's so refreshing to see a video which isn't about building the biggest base or collecting the most diamonds. It's just minecraft at it's core with a slight twist. Keep doing these type of videos brother. P.S. I recently started my own world with this modpack. The levelZ mod is truly game-changing. I had to fight monsters with 3 hearts for nights until I was able to get some iron. It's hard but also very rewarding I would say.

Hey! I know your comment is almost two weeks old, but I also really enjoy this slower-pace less-ambitious type of minecraft playthroughs. I really really recommend Etho's more recent Modded Minecraft Playthrough, he's chill and I live his voice and his building style is really cool. I also just recently found a channel called Jordan's Nook, chill, slow, long videos. He's been playing a modpack called BCG(?) which focuses on farming and trading. Also he has a thick kentucky accent so as a foreigner that is really cool to hear. I highly recommend him too!

I would absolutely LOVE to see an island video, an archipelago seed would be really really cool! The type of world you could build around an archipelago would be fantastic, and, assuming you don't... die. You could create such an interesting society/lore set up on an archipelago seed. A biome overhaul would be really cool honestly. I feel like oak forests especially are impossible to navigate in because of how narrow the trees are. Don't get me started on riding a horse through those places its such a nightmare without mods haha

Check out Let's Do Blooming Nature! Granted it modifies a couple other biomes, but the changes it makes to the forest biome are exactly what you are talking about. Actually so nice to walk and ride through. And if you don't like the other biome changes, you can easily edit the datapack files to reset things to vanilla :)

For those looking to do this vanilla: in lush caves tree and bamboo don't naturally spawn, neither does grass. You can still get wood, however, because the little azaelia bushes can be bonemealed into cute little trees, and pockets of dirt can be found randomly through caves

Now this is a 100 days challenge I would watch a lot of other KZbinrs have the same generic challenge and milk KZbin’s algorithm with it. None of them are really any creative. But this, it’s a masterpiece and shows the effort put into the challenge. Finally something unique and original. Subbed ty for the genuine content that actually took effort and isn’t milking and killing the Minecraft part of KZbin. ❤

Great video, I love the new concept of challenging modifiers to the normal vanilla gameplay! It's a shame that you did not get to the 4 hours you where talking about but after this i am excited on what other challenges you can come up with :D For your information about the deep dark. The sculk sensors does not do anything on their own, they just pick up sound. However if they are able to send the signal further to a Sculk Shrieker, then the warden will spawn after you've activated it four times ;)

Like, the average youtuber is like a TV Presenter, they lift themselves up and try their "best" to do insane builds and contraptions, or well, they ACT like youtubers, nothing wrong with that ofcourse, i love that style as well, but these videos feel more like that "just talking about life to some dude you just met" kinda vibes, and i dig it. I love what you were saying about people online talking about the progression. People should be able to play how they want. It's a bit harder for bedrock players, because on console you can only pay for mods, but when I'm on my phone, I will download mods to change it up. I understand where some people come from saying that the progression is boring. I think the argument gets spoiled sometimes because of the loud few people who think the progression is the only thing the game has to offer and get angry about it, causing needless hostility. Though there are people on the other side of the argument who act the same way.

11:22 even though mumbo jumbo is a huge mc shill he made a good point about the newer updates and mods. Mojang has to walk a line: anything you in particular want in the game is available as an optional download. Anything mojang puts in, the entire community has to find agreeable. That’s why they release so little and try so hard to create a particular identity. If you want something specific to be in your game, go put it in
