For assignment related submissions u will need a notebook for each subject…but for class notes if you are asking then grab one spiral notebook and divide it only for different subjects

iPad is a smart option because u can get notes down, download books, utilize the ppt given by college…if you are not like me who needs both books and iPad then go for buying an iPad as u can have everything at one place. Hope it helps!!:)
