The one thing I will say about the MyVegas redemption is for the shark reef ticket it's currently at 50,000 points(for reference you get 400 a day for a daily bonus and I believe about 100 per minute or two of active play) and after playing for about a month, only at 45,000(if you can, try to use it for other things around the country or for rooms, they are slightly better priced)

I've really enjoyed your videos over the last few months. I'm a regular visitor to Vegas about 3 times a year. My last trip was 2 weeks ago And unfortunately it may be my last. I have never been so appalled at the price Of everything! My resort fee went from 38.50 To 51, parking went from 15 to 24 per day. I decided to try a couple of new restaurants And in one of them a cheesesteak sandwich for $18 and was asked by the waitress if I'd like Cole slaw or French fries and chose French fries. When the bill came I found out the French fries were $12!! Not included in the price of the sandwich! Sorry to sound like a whiny little bitch But the topper came when I went to the nestle's toll house cookie kiosk in the mall And was charged 10.50 for 2 cookies. Had it not been for your for your suggestion of Ellis island and the fish-and-chips and the amazing shower in my hotel room It would have been a total bust trip.
@Kelly-tj8xv2 жыл бұрын
Vegas is expensive. Cocktails start at $16. That's a high resort fee. I've never seen such a high resort fee. Always remember to check the menu to see what comes with your main meal. And always ask if the side is extra, when the server asks what side you want. Did you check the menu to see if fries were included, or an extra charge?

I've heard her say before to book directly with the hotel so you can get points on your players card. If you book thru a 3rd party (expedia, travelocity, etc) you don't earn points on your room... I believe. I'd check each hotel. The MGM resorts have their best rates on their sites
@ccdecker Жыл бұрын
I work at a hotel, albeit not in Las Vegas. We treat guests who book directly with us much better than those who book with Expedia (because Expedia et al are just bargain shoppers and unlikely to be loyal even if we give them a great stay),, and we match an advertised rate elsewhere. Plus booking directly gives the hotel control to waive policies like cancelation fees. Use Expedia et al for comparison shopping, but don't ever, EVER book through them

The thing about the breakfast special though, yes, it's $4.99, but there is no coffee included in the deal. If you are okay with having your breakfast just with water, then it's fine. But the cost of coffee is just as much as the breakfast itself, so if you add coffee, tax and tip, your breakfast is now around $15.00 per person. And I come to Vegas solo almost every time, and you can get a much nicer breakfast for about $5.00 more.

Great video!! My last couple of trips the only time we didn't walk was to go to the outlet mall. We walked everywhere, every day!! Sore feet but let's be honest, I'm cheap and would rather have money for something else besides the train lol MyVegas gold coins are definitely worth using. 👌

I was kinda hoping the first thing Ruby did was to bet $50 at the roulette wheel and double her money. It would be so Vegas. 😁

Check out the Stratosphere. Her video was ok. Los Olivos on DI for the best Italian food on a budget, bring your fav wine and make sure to get a reservation

$4.99 for breakfast, paid with $50 and has $44 left...less than a $1 tip for the server after taxes? Be cheap, but damn take care of the waitstaff.

I was low key hoping she threw the waiter/waitress an extra couple bucks off camera

Hi Bella, to keep with the theme of the video, I tipped the standard 20%. My husband also ate two of those breakfasts. Our server was taken care of.

I got lost in that mall once., It was freaking ridiculous. I spent like half an hour trying to find the strip and walked in a giant circle.
