Great video, showing the realities of boat ownership, during a hurricane.

Looks like you have her all prepped for the storm. As someone who has been through a few hurricanes here in Seaport and Kemah Texas you do all you can and hope that's enough. Good luck to ya'll, and prayers this one will be uneventful. Watching for the next update.

Catching up on some of your older videos. You just get your boat home and then this. Stressful for sure and it came through clearly. You both do a wonderful job with story-telling as well as the editing. I guess being a journalist was a big plus here, but I am in a very similar line of work as you Cole and you are doing great with what I assume is zero on-screen training. I assume you replaced the prop you lost on the way across the Gulf? So also- according to the new clip, this is a 2 year plan? Lots of questions, obviously. If they are answered in a future video, I'll get there eventually. I hope my wife and I can do this in a few years as the kids go off and live their lives, but enjoying living vicariously through you two for now.

We're prepping for the hurricane here, too.....we live in Palmetto. Praying that the storm will fall apart at sea and not affect ANYONE in Florida!

In hind sight, a run to Naples would put you closer to Ian. We live in Cape Coral and saw the stream of cars from Tampa as we got the notification to evacuate. We rode out Ian with our two dogs and cat in a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale. I'm sure we will be in this situation soon as we are in the process of buying a Privilege 43 Cat and trying to find a place to put it down here. Sadly we haven't recovered so my choices are below Naples or a mooring ball by Fort Myers Beach. Hope that Tarpon Point comes back up soon and I can get a slip. Looking forward to seeing more of your "Adventure Crews" in the future.

Where are yall gonna stay for the storm? On the boat or off?

This is why most people who have the ability and dont live in FL move their boat north for the summer. Even if your not hit, it is a nightmare to deal with. Some years they seems to come one after another.
