I'm a freelance designer and event photographer, I spent my savings on a new camera about 3 months ago, so with no new business popping and events being cancelled I'm solo desperate because I'm in a huge debt paying for my Master's and for life in general. Trying to find new business and forms of making money to pay for everything that I can't get rid of. But it's been hard, all of your advices are very good!! Let's all get through this!

Maybe contact the government and university and put it to them that they cancel the expectation of student debt being paid now. Often governments are receptive when you contact the right person. I would contact one or more ministers office's. Think about who might be most sympathetic to your idea and who is in a place to make such decisions. It's worth a shot.

Aacha great idea. Lucky for us in the UK, student debt repayment is more like a tax. If you don’t earn over the threshold then you have nothing to repay. If you do earn over the threshold then it’s a small percentage of your take home pay and is directly related to your income. Much better than the USA...

@@aacha548 I talked to my bank about cut on taxes for late payments and with the university so they wouldn't cut my access to classes if I don't pay in time, since I already paid for the full grad school debt they didn't mind being flexible with the payments of my current course, I couldn't renegotiate much because it's not like classic 'student debt', I'm paying monthly while studying, but they were very understanding and told me not to worry, to just give a heads-up if I saw I wouldn't be able to pay and they would help

@@TheVicarsWifesFrugalLife in Brazil we have free federal universities for those who can't or don't want to pay for tuition, they pay for tuition in prived university too if you can't afford your first university, for example my architecture formation was entirely paid buy the government because I couldn't afford. In this cases tax money is also used to pay, only is everyone's taxes. The student debt usually here is from a bank or from the university itself, they "pay" for you and 18 months after graduation you start paying it back with something between 6 and 10% of interest a month.

Prolific, valued opinions, crowdology and Yougov are amazing for surveys. User testing, as someone already mentioned, pay you £10 for reviewing websites Receipt hog and shoppix are for scanning receipts

I graduated last year and have been setting myself up as a videographer. I hadn't even registered as self-employed yet... Its actually terrifying. All my work has vanished into thin air and I've got no idea what I'm supposed to do to get financial assistance :/ Universal credit it the most confusing thing I have ever had to deal with!
@TheVicarsWifesFrugalLife4 жыл бұрын
Lotte Johnson gosh, I’m so sorry. I’m making a video about universal credit today in case that helps. I will post it in the next few days. It is really confusing, I totally agree... hugs to you. Keep talking and keep breathing. Xxx

xzxzxzxzxz xzxzxzxzxz A Vicar is a job. My husband is a Vicar and a priest. A priest is who he is and his job is being a Vicar - which means he is in charge of a church. I hope this clears things up.

Lee Davidson all Vicars in the Church of England get the same. It’s about £27K a year.

@TheVicarsWifesFrugalLife4 жыл бұрын
Lee Davidson yes, we get accommodation as part of his stipend. Some churches offer help with some bills, but not all. The stipend and accommodation are the basic package.

I would add that I fully acknowledge that we are very fortunate, and even though my earnings have all but disappeared over night, we have a lot of security. Hopefully, that peace of mind will give me the space to create useful content to help people who haven’t lucked out in the same way. I FULLY acknowledge my privilege...
