@@chrispbacon6810 it doesn't work this way. Slow or not slow, most people in bodybuilding get stretch marks due to the pump not the muscle growth. You can see other sports like wrestling or ring gymnastics show way less skin issues despite their size. The guy is clearly gifted. His shin is crystal clear. All the predisposed areas are clean. Shoulders, chest, biceps, armpits, behind the armpit. Its a miracle in my opinion and a rare sight to be seen. 99/100 guys his size no matter how slow they build it would have way more damaged skin

Love that seated row technique I have been doing the one arm version of that and it is awesome. The key is hinge at the hip, stable lumbar but rounding in the cervical spine and focus of allowing the scars to open up at the bottom. The single arm version gives an extra 10-20% stretch at the bottom. I even shift toward the working arm to stretch even deeper. I feel the stretch at the very bottom of the lat insertion WAY better than bilateral. The lat insert typically all the down at like L3.

@ippanpedrozo11626 ай бұрын
that's... not "stretch mediate hypertrophy". stretch mediated hypertrophy is when you grow muscle in the target area by stretching that muscle for multiple hours. for a more nuanced answer, watch Milo Wolf's video critiquing Menno Henselmans titled: Menno Henselmans vs Milo Wolf: Who’s Right? at the 0:54 time stamp in that video. for context, Milo Wolf is the premiere researcher into lengthened partial training that has appeared mutliple times on Mike Israetel's channel. his research and studies are cited by multiple other fitness youtube channels like Mike and Jeff Nippard.

That weightlessness is momentum, which is an outside force. So Eric is correct to slow down concentric because it keeps the tut consistent. Momentum lowers the intensity when under tension.
