This is genuinely the most fun I've had in a dungeon raid, the "prison" is usually rushed through since all the best loot is stacked on the tower's roof allowing for an easy fly-by but if you take the time to properly explore and raid it, it's 100% worth it.

RLCraft is one of the most well-known hardcore Minecraft modpacks, and I've decided to play it on hardcore difficulty. Luckily for me, I have a lot of experience on my hands, but will I manage to survive Hardcore RLCraft while playing the way it's intended? (avoiding game exploits as best I can - not using God-Tier equipment to become OP)

RLCraft is a Minecraft Modpack consisting of approximately 120 separate mods that have been bundled and tweaked by Shivaxi to create a challenging Minecraft fantasy world. The modpack is currently at version 2.8.2 and runs on Minecraft version 1.12.2.
While trying to survive this world you will discover dragons, castles, dungeons, skill systems, new crafting systems and if that wasn’t enough most of the mechanics of traditional Minecraft have been modified.
The modpack is specially designed to bring an incredibly hardcore and semi-realism challenge revolving around adventure and survival.

yeah, initially I was thinking of using the night vision ring (since it's a crafting component for the dragon eye anyways) but now that I made resistance rings I guess I should go for sunglasses instead

Finally guy who knows what to do in rlcraft perfectly and is willing to take risks, but knows when to stop. Absolutely great content dude, tho i ahve to ask, why is everything so dark and gloomy, like the light settings, do u plan to brighten things up or is hte idea of the series to make this kinda horror themes

I definitely prefer it for the ambiance, but I can understand that anyone that isn't watching from a PC is probably going to have difficulty seeing. I personally like to keep it "dark" so that I have an incentive to use torches.. I'm the kind of guy that if I don't force myself into doing something (because I wouldn't be able to see otherwise) I won't actually end up using torches. In my previous series as soon as I got night vision (from the dragon eye) I never touched a torch again, except for disabling spawners, and I kind of want to avoid that (by making things dark -- and night vision is disabled) Should I increase brightness post-recording? I'm just scared that it might make things looks too "blurry" and thank you for the feedback Ken :)

@@LordAngrim I think maybe you could do one episode with the brightness turned up, and have a poll to ask if ppl liked it one way or the other. You forcing yourself to do things like not cheese these kinda structures is very inspiring btw, might do something like that myself, thx

@@raiden1425 I've only been using these "darker" shaders in the hardcore series, in Season 2 I always used Sildurs Vibrant shaders, I might as well do a poll right away asking which shader people prefer, thank you for the tip :D

Man that block was clutch. I don’t know how u can play with such dark shaders. Y not attack the dungeon during the day?

I mean, it's underground anyway so it wouldn't really change much, but I like to keep it dark for better immersion. It feels too tame if I can easily see everything (at least to me)

I feel so dirty. I enabled creative mode to get lots of grave scrolls

They're pretty cheap as long as you have ender pearls, but as far as "cheating" goes I'd say that's one of the most understandable ones since nobody wants to have their stuff vanish before they get there on time

​@@triptip00 I always find one of those "purple dungeons" that pop-out of the ground (the ones that have bosses names "Asakku", "Anarchical hound" etc.) There are loads of spawners with mobs that drop ender pearls there Otherwise just go mining, a mob that drops them will spawn sooner or later

Nice :D can you teach me how to do RLCraft Mid-Game? I have red dragon armor but i cant find a mending book for the life of me ._. + I keep running out of levels

Finding the book is fairly difficult and it won't fix the problem because just 1 book isn't enough, you need to find villagers, ideally, search for outposts (like the one I found in the first episode of the hardcore series) the librarian there has scripted good trades

@@SleepingRaven That's great! Just find a "Port City" (It's a huge village in the ocean) in there you can find a throne made out of emerald blocks, that'll be more than enough emeralds ;D

@@SleepingRaven you could go to the dungeon that Lord Angrim went to this episode, it has vindicator spawners, and with looting, you'll get a lot of emeralds, plus exp
