When you are making a longish train journey where you just want some peace & quiet, not sure I would be happy if I have some YT vlogger near me who is giving a running commentary quite loudly throughout the journey in some foreign language & disturbing your peace. Vloggers need to understand this & be considerate towards strangers around them when visiting foreign countries instead of being selfish! Egypt was once a place that I wanted to visit but I have seen and heard too many horror stories from friends and family about it. Seen many other KZbinrs getting harassed by government people despite having official permits to shoot content. Plus, the attitude of Egyptians regarding women, especially foreign women, is very disturbing. I still remember how one American journalist who was covering the revolt at Tahrir Square got molested by a very large mob of men. She barely escaped. Her male crew was beaten badly when they tried to help her. They even have a name for this ' sport ' called Taharrush. If only, the original ancient Egyptian culture could have not ended due to Islamic invasions. Instead, it should have continued into the modern era. It was a more cosmopolitan and open minded culture. I still love the history of this nation. It is fascinating and majestic. But its current state is rather sad.
