Thank you Les, for being an al'round stand up human. I literally only watch re-runs of Survivorman because, truly, all other tv shows are....well.......distasteful to say the least. Again, thank YOU LES. I am a female, but i look up to you. I learn something from you everyday. I hope you have people in your life that teach you new things too. God bless, you are a treasure. (Thank you for putting this content/your work on KZbin. It is appreciated.)

Les your the real rockstar in my book. Your show got me though a lot of rough times as a kid and really gave me the confidence I needed to go out into the bush for days/weeks on end and live off the land. I’m also an ex-signed musician and after my singer was shot and my bassist hung himself I wasn’t left with many options, but the wilderness and skills I learned from you and others really got me though that rough patch and I hope one day I’ll get to come shake your hand and just say thanks. Cheers mate

i also appreciate this survival content, but i also know when to appreciate a different kind of survival....i am so sorry to hear about your bandmates.. staying motivated to learn and adventure is important in the healing process and i am PROUD OF YOU what is your preferred instrument to play?/do you still play? i can read sheet music and played some percussion for a short while, but never stuck with it. i really want to teach myself to play piano.. happy travels and god bless ciao

I watched all your episodes as a kid. I got to say you are my childhood hero. I remember watching your show and going out to my backyard to try and make snares and build leantunes.

Les, I've loved your stuff since my family first sat down to watch Survivormans first episode. I was glad to see your episodes with your son and just wondering something. Bear Grylis, ugh, did episodes with celebrities. Was wondering if you would ever consider doing episodes with everyday people or even amatuer Survivalist?

Another great one Les. Thanks for being an all around great guy and providing us with knowledge and the only REAL reality tv I think has ever existed. Just wish we could time travel and get you a go-pro or two and a drone to make things easier filming wise. Really enjoying all the work you’ve been doing from these to the Director’s Cuts and providing us the ability to watch Survivorman anytime for free. Keep it up! Always inspiring! I’m disabled but I’m going to the mountains this summer and I’m going to make videos of it, test some knives, and just escape. Hopefully I won’t be in a survival situation, but practicing everything in your books and learning from the shows makes me feel prepared. Keep it up and stay well Les!

if you learned from les then you will be just fine!! the mountains are exquisite; you will be able to take some nice shots, i am excited for you. whereabouts are these mountains that you speak of? i am going to subscribe to your channel, hope all is well, looking forward to seeing your mountain trip and survival skills. i am planning a camping trip soon with my bf (when it gets a bit warmer than freezing) lol and i really want to make a fire with the good ol'fashioned stick friction--maybe i'll make a video of it and tag you in it. always a good day when you're outside, god bless you and bless your adventures

Hello Mr Stroud and listening to Mike Clink, Great to hear where you both are at with the natural messages in meaning of music.Glad to hear Mr Clink has fought for the Liberty of artists as Les you have fought for many justices .Did the Tribunal trance state change your inner realm ? Please try not to underestimate your own music efforts to the big stars Les, your have far more value, meaning in your lyrics, with Mike Clink support you made it so, he's got your back..Connecting with WWE for instance or other environmental movements within music you can get the message across in changing the world together ..The heart is where music is important. Your music speaks for itself. Experience the artist in front of you is my chopper thoughts ..Mother earth, This Time, Far Away gone,The Cost resonates .Keep up the talent ❤

Listen to Dance Gavin Dance! Rock and Roll might be genre locked, but Rock is not. Alot of Amazing groups start as cover bands. Shawn James is also another amazing artist who prob experiences exactly what you two are discussing daily. Over all both apeal to us of a younger age group. And both couldnt be more different, but both considered Rock. Just like it did when you guys were young! Your a legend Les! Keep up the good content! Coral, survivalist from NW MT USA

The only show that even comes close to doing it for real is Alone - all the others are completely staged

@@SurvivormanLesStroud I agree Alone is a great show, but what do you think about the big fat guy who almost won last season by basically doing nothing except sitting in his cabin? He obviously benefitted immensely from his fat reserves and I think that's kind of unfair. Maybe fat people shouldn't be allowed on the show? What do you think?

I just hope the autotune fad dies out personally. Producers autotune great singers just for the autotune "sound", even though the singer is almost perfect. SMH
