Cool exploit. I always wondered why it flattened instantly when filling smaller holes instead of sending drones and now I know. I like using the flattening tool to fill in old pits left by concrete extractors, after the supply has been exhausted.

PLEASE READ FOR HUGE RESOURCE BOOST EXPLOIT!!!! When setting up a game go to the game rules & activate the self replenishing universal depot. Once this has been built it will self replenish every sol. Now here’s the cool part 😏 If you select the universal depot & set it to ban the storage on all resources! When you do this drones will empty the entire depot every sol dispersing all resources to other nearby depots! This little trick will give you a huge boost in progression as you essentially never have to worry about running low on resources... at least while your getting started! Although this trick guarantees you all resources every sol eventually the amount it spawns will not be enough meaning you’ll eventually have to build factories/extractors to support your massive colony anyway. A good idea would be to build plenty of resource depots around the self replenishing universal depot so drones will continuously stock up on all resources every sol from the beginning! Pretty much unlimited resources! Your welcome 🙏

I usually bind my keys at flat terrain on key 1 and cancel on key 2, and you can just go mental until all is flatten... I did crash my game with this though. If over use it it freezes for some reason.
