Cool that you post the good rounds and not so good rounds. A lot of pros channels only show you the best of the best and make it seem like they never make any mistakes, thanks for keeping it real!

Dude you are my inspiration. I just started 10 months or so ago and I won my first ma3. I normally hit -3 to -5 rounds. Since winning I have gotten a serious knee injury and didn't quit. I've trie∂ playing å couple tournaments and just haven't been performing the same. In fact, I tried 2 tournaments injured and just sucked lol. I know what I am capable of doing but been off. For example, forehands isn't my strong point. I throw them really well while practicing and completely blow it every time in a tournament and that's frustrating. It's cost me some rounds that could have been mine or were mine. Your honesty and frustration is transparent and I respect and love that about you. I don't show my frustration the way you did but I definitely lose my game. I don't throw far so that puts me at a disadvantage. Give me a consistent 350-380 and humbly my competition would be in trouble. My strong point of my game is my upshots and I can nail some clutch putts when I struggled in the beginning. Right now I am struggling to consistently throw over 300 without the fear of reinjuring my ligament again. I needed to see this video for inspiration. I will keep pushing and go after what I know I can do and make it happen. Thanks for posting this

This is one of the nicest comments I've ever gotten, thank you so much!! 💙 I'm glad my frustration could be something that helps you in some way. Failing short of your expectations is always hard, but its not the end of your journey. I hope your injury gets better soon! Keep grinding, and you'll get to where you want to be in no time!

I'm very impressed that you went ahead and posted the video and provided really good commentary. That must feel like torture while you're making the video. Hopefully, now that you've had a bad round, all the pressure is off. I played in my first tournament this weekend, and my nerves got to me too. I played my worst round in months; I had a quad bogey on a nemmis hole, and it was 100% because I got in my head. Today I went back and got my first birdie on that same hole! I've seen you play, and it was impressive. I know that you can knock it out of the park in the next two rounds!

I’ve had rounds that were very similar in tourneys. The brain is a crazy thing. Once confidence is lost, it’s sometimes impossible to get it back. It’s the battle between high expectations and the reality unfolding at the moment. You have the right mentality, though….optimism that you can turn it around. Hope you do in the next rounds. 👍
