I have no idea how this video will perform. It was definitely experimental on my part, but I'm happy I did it! I learned a lot, and hopefully, you do too after watching. Rest assured I'm not ditching my typical topics or style but as I mentioned before I want to blend internet culture and social science. I hope you all enjoy. Indeed, but as someone who eats bananas everyday as well, those bananas were really green. I assume he still had ripe bananas to eat, because eating one while the peel is still green is tart and bitter. A lot more tannins as well, so the mouthfeel is terrible. Here, 6 bananas obviously last 6 days, so having 6 greens and a few ripe ones is quite a lot to last a week without worry.

Man, Sheetz has little place in my heart, had the most satisfying meal ever there. For context, I am from the UK. I was in the US to work as a camp councillor for a few months. Because I was the only councillor with any boating experience, I was made to be a staff member on a 9 day canoe trip, travelling around 67 miles. Imagine that you had just been on that canoe trip. All you had eaten for 9 days was entirely from tins or packets, cooked over a campfire with bare minimum portions. Then, you finally end your trip, and the car journey home starts. Then, in the distance, the red gates of heaven open as you pull into this goddamn gas station of the gods. I considered applying for American citizenship as I ordered a burrito the size of my forearm and a $1.29 extra large lemonade larger than my head. Our entire group sat in complete silence as we all decimated our meals and watched some shitty Hallmark movie on the TV, which was the only time the entire group was silent considering it consisted of a bunch of 13 year old teenage girls. That meal, whilst definitely not anything fancy, felt like the last supper to me. God bless Sheetz and American lemonade 🫡

As a Pennsylvanian the Sheetz vs. WaWa war/divide is very real. I happen to be on the WaWa side of the argument. But I'm also from NE PA. People in the east of the state tend to prefer WaWa. Sheetz is edible, but I find WaWa food to be way better. I would rather go to WaWa for food over about any fast food joint ever.

Meanwhile I spent nearly a year once spending about $35-50 a week on food for a week at Walmart. For example you can buy a weeks worth of ramen for $5 and and a pack of 8 hot dogs for $2,. Combine that with the free bread I got from donations, I was able to even splurge and buy some more expensive frozen food. Like chicken nuggets, fish sticks, and the breakfast burritos. I lost 20 lbs over that year which admittedly was bad for me since I was under weight to begin with, but it saved my life. If anybody is curious, two more examples was you can buy a pack of 4 Chef Boyardee for about $5, and boxes of off brand kraft for $1 each that by the way come with 2 servings. I also was paying for all the food living with my now ex.

Once upon a time, I was homeless, living in my minivan while working at a 7 eleven. All I ate was hot prep food that was in the warmer too long..it made me so sick I literally will never set foot in a 7 eleven again. Gas station food is horrible. Anyways man, glad I’m not alone 😂
