I just picked this game up after watching enough of this series to be sure it wouldn’t just be nostalgia carrying me. Doing an officer save as Cheng Pu as governor at Moling. Lu Bu is absolutely ascendant in my save and bearing down on us! Fun to see how every campaign shapes up differently.

The Lady of the Han will impact the ‘fall of Han’ tale chain later. Basically 3 options, revive Han, succeed Han formally, overthrow Han. You need to be married to LadyZhouhua for the revive the Han dynasty which is like 30-40 cities I think

You know there is the auto function for battle What if you do another ruler campaign like yuan shu where you auto delegate all the battles like a true RAT emperor (I’m talking about the in battle auto orders function not the auto delegate battle in world map - so we can truly see ai vs ai dumb actions 😂)

You could go north to get more character, and get liu bei and Lu bu to work for you. Collect all the best character in game and what Sun Ce want to do before his death.

unfortunately no. ROTK is pretty much player focused. You are not really able to micromanage anyone else aside yourself and those with relationship to you gets some scraps from events and that is all.

im actually curious if you have done the math on the actual levels of skills over the actual High number in a Officer category like 90 Leadership but no skill in repair but someone 60 or 70 in leadership but level 3 repair. Do you actually know its better or assuming the game is correct in its calculations which so far it seems its a bit off. I usually stick the highest overall over skills unless its super close then of course one trumps another. Doing the stuff is how officers get merit so when your Top officers arent getting stuff done in the city and they cant gain Officer rep they get stuck with deputy duty. Which i guess is fine.

So I did some testing in episode 9 of the series which you will see soon enough and it is not super clear how to calculate it exactly but here are a few key takeaways: 1. The skills add quite a few points and is significant especially at higher levels since it is not linear. For example. level 1 adds say 12 points, level 2 would add 30, and level 3 would add 60. 2. Motivation matters. While 95-100 motivation has no change, a motivation of 80 will take a significant cut to your output (by around 40%). 3. Skill point is not linear, so there are break points. Like the difference between 94 to 100 is very minimal with 94-97 being the same and 98-100 being like 8 points higher, but 91 becomes like 12 points lower than 94 and 86 becomes 20 points lower and it drops super fast. So its more of a quadratic curve. With all three factors at play, it is super hard to test the exact math but I would say the skills are relevant when the stats aren't that dramatically different. Your example of 90 base vs 60-70 with level 3 will favor the 90 by a little bit just because the base stat fall off is very drastic and not linear. But say 99 with level 1 and 90 with level 3. The level 3 will win by a lot.
