The school I graduated from has/had a 4-day school week where Friday was an optional day to come in a make up any work and to get extra help. Real nice until the teachers got annoyed that kids were utilizing the Fridays as days to get extra help and makeup work.

Grade 1 was easy but because I didn’t go to kindergarten and nursery I was forced to absorbed everything in Grade 1 and 2. After that(Grade 3-4), I was on the same level (but still a bit lost) as everyone and everyone only like passed their tests and milestones. Then, after passing my exam in Grade 4 (Grade 3 exams was cancelled for me and my classmates due to covid), I then went grade 5. After that, one of my friends failed their English,one of my friends got a 2/20 on their Science milestone, one got a 9, basically nearly everyone failed. For my classmates Math milestones, there was still a lot of failures or people who just passed, so, elementary school isn’t that easy. Only grade 1 and 2 should be easy, there are people in my school who got 15/100 for their Math in grade 4. Still, I think most of us will pass our PSLE. 98.4% passes their PSLE,so, I think my class is safe and especially since we’re not in foundation. I think I am also safe as I passed nearly like only nearly everything in P5.

I can confidently say that "weekend wednesday" is a literal life changer. Working for 2 days, off for a day, working for 2 days, off for 2 days, repeat, has made me so much happier in life. Granted I am fortunate enough that I can survive working less then the utmost maximum, and in a job where I can pick my hours, a benefit not everyone has, but it's the kind of thing that so fundamentally changed my perception of not only work but my life, going forward I'm going to do my damnedest to keep it.
