"The Darien Gap is notoriously known as the world's deadliest jungle.
Straddling the border between Colombia and Panama, the Darién Gap presents a formidable challenge on one of the globe's most treacherous migration paths. This remote and roadless expanse encompasses over sixty miles of dense rainforest, steep mountains, and expansive swamps.
The area is rife with paramilitary factions and criminal gangs, preying on migrants who dare the crossing. Migrants face not only violence, extortion, and the threat of assault but also life-threatening natural hazards like venomous snake bites, harsh weather, and the risk of drowning.
Despite stern warnings from the Panamanian army about the dangers, my friend ‪@baldandbankrupt‬ and I chose to take the risk and cross it ourselves. Our goal was to witness firsthand the harrowing journey average Venezuelan migrants endure in pursuit of their American dream.
Join us on this eye-opening journey into...the Darien."

I did this journey when i was just turning 14 years old.. i did not have money at all, i didn't know anyone, every second of that journey i wass terrified. Saw many people die, specially old people and small children. I’m glad you made it buddy. My family and I made it from Ecuador in 1991. I was 3 years old. But now, I kinda don’t want all these people coming into America, it’s weird. Well let me rephrase, I don’t want anyone who is NOT from south or Central America coming into my beautiful country, America. We don’t want middle eastern people, Africans, any people from places that are breeding radicals and HATE our culture and don’t respect our way of life.

im not american but america is ruler of world so we are all part of the story...my perspective was firstly touched after i celebrated like im afroamerican,black american when obama won... i remember him saying YES WE CAN and BRING OUR TROOPS HOME but soon as he got into office he said we need to send 20,000 more to afganistan... after that i knew its all wrong (most of usa army is black guys too)..then in 2016 they(demonrats) steal it from bernei and give it to killary and at that point i was like GO TRUMP ! When he won he didnt drain swamp and now swamp is killing him... USA POLITICS IS ABSOLUTE TRASH! They are reason for this video and poor people doing this danger trip for no reason

CHAT GPT CORRECTION : "I'm not American, but America's influence permeates globally, so we're all part of its narrative. My perspective shifted significantly when Obama won; I celebrated as if I were African American. I vividly recall his rallying cries of 'Yes, we can' and 'Bring our troops home,' only to witness him escalate involvement in Afghanistan shortly after taking office. This contradiction shook me profoundly, especially considering a significant portion of the U.S. military comprises black servicemen. Then, in 2016, the Democratic Party seemingly snatched victory from Bernie Sanders and handed it to Hillary Clinton. That's when I began to support Trump. However, his failure to 'drain the swamp' has led to the swamp devouring him. American politics, in my eyes, is a dumpster fire. They are directly responsible for the plight depicted in this video, with impoverished individuals undertaking perilous journeys for futile reasons."

@@glovozagreb6594Yes, American politics is a "dumpster fire". Millions of illegal immigrants are pouring into America. Once they have arrived they are getting free shelter, free food, free lawyers to grant them citizenship, etc. Not all these immigrants are upstanding citizens. Many are gang members, and a lot have been arrested for robberies and even murder.The United States has given billions to Ukraine in the never ending war with Russia and now this problem with immigration. Americans are getting fed up paying for these clowns called politicians raising taxes and making America look like a third world nation. Ninety nine percent of the comments are for the illegal entry to the United States which I cannot wrap my head around. Sure, this channel is there for entertainment, make money, and show people the struggles immigrants go through to get to the United states. It doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. Do it legally or go home.

Sounds like you hate America. Just as my sympathy started to make me think man this is tragic I see comments from people like you that redirect my feelings from sympathetic to anger. You are owed nothing! I am owed nothing! Your attitude is the problem. America is far from perfect but it’s a hell of a lot better than Mexico or any of these other countries. It is the best country in the world. Period. The problem is people come here with the “F America” attitude. Americans have no problem with people coming here who plan to assimilate and love America. It’s the people who think the hard working American tax payer owes them something. These people can have a way better life in America if they don’t go around with their heads down like victims and work hard for what they want. I’ve dated many girls who have moved to America from Mexico and they are all doing great here so idk what your goal is but the American dream is alive and well. The problem is racist foreign international millionaires who are funding the Democrat party who hate the west are trying to fundamentally change America. Ppl like George Soros, the #1 funder of the Democrat party are funneling millions of dollars into America for all these radical woke ideology’s including universities. They are trying to make Americans hate America because without that happening there will never be a one world system. In order to conquer they have to have us divided so they funnel millions into pushing tough issues like pronouns , infiltrating the minds of American children, using social media to brainwash the masses, using confrontations like the current one in Gaza to try to turn the countries own ppl against America, pumping the communities with the horrible drugs that come from these countries that people are fleeing, funding riots, purchasing politicians, purchasing district attorneys and judges and pushing propaganda to the western world. They want complete chaos but don’t be fooled America still has a mostly silent majority that is sitting back watching what’s going on and just like a rubber band if they push to far the American ppl are going to snap. One last thing, stop with the racial BS. There were not just “Latin brothers” their. Many of those people were from countries all around the world. We are all the same. On job applications in America when you check race you check white (Non Hispanic) because Hispanics are still considered white because the average Hispanic is 20% to 65% European. We are all the same . I hate that people can’t see that .

By far the best video I've seen on KZbin. Tons of respect to both for risking your lives in order to film this and show the unbearable struggles, ordeal, and trauma these individuals go through. Certain things were very disturbing only by watching the video, I can't imagine the pain they go through. My prayers to you for the rest of the journey. You both produce the best content out there.

Can I ask why you left the US to live in Panama?
@Pattybluehayes
@Pattybluehayes 7 ай бұрын
@@1.crazy.redhead A lot of reasons. Primarily it was a financial decision to leave the US. Being self-employed and almost 60, it was unlikely I'd be able to afford to live in the states into my old age. I traveled around to different countries. Picked Panama because I love the mountains and access to 2 oceans, it's a small country - only about 4 million people. Close enough to go visit family on the east coast. No mass shootings, not a huge opioid problem here (so less crime related to that). The Panamanian people are amazingly kind, patient, tolerant and fun. Hope that answers. I have a channel with my Panama videos 🙂
