It would've been fun to watch, but I think it would've been a dumb move. I don't think Dom could definitely say that his fire making skills were so much better than Wendell's. He could easily have lost his spot in the finals.

Can you imagine if Dom had done what he said he might do and given Ang the necklace and went up against Wendell in the fire making challenge? Would've been insane. Either way, this finale was insane with the tie vote and Laurel having to be the deciding vote.

Dom has delegated his chance to be the winner by letting Angela do his bidding. What a mistake... Dom would have won at the fire making challenge. Dom had been looking after the fire everyday and everynight for 38 days. Dom was "the" expert about making fire.

I guess the reason why Wendell is petrified is because the orange flag represents Malolo and so if he was there then he might’ve lost and went to the jury

Angela made a mistake by switching. She should have let him stay on orange just to psyche him out...even a tiny bit of fear in Wendell could have helped.

Even if this twist wasn’t in this season I think it would’ve been a tie anyway. Laurel and Wendell would vote for Angela and Dom and Angela would vote for Wendell

As Dom won the challenge and final immunity anyway, perhaps he could have convinced Laurel to flip, maybe pointing out that there's no way she beats Wendell at Final Tribal. You'd have to be pretty stupid to - if given the chance to take out one huge threat - go into Final Tribal with the two most threatening players in the game.

Randomization Entertainment I have to disagree in the past it made no sense how the person who won the final immunity had all the power. You little could have played a perfect game but thanks to the other person winning he has all the power. The person who wins should have control of taking one person to final 3 and be placed into a good position on who they can take to the final 3 but not absolute control. Yes this is a strategy game but if you can not make a fire then you do not deserve the million

Mckinley Freelon The problem is the twist it excessive and unnecessary. If your fate in the game has to be decided by your ability to make fire and not by your ability to convince the others to keep you in, then what's the whole point of strategizing for 39 days when you can just make a fire and win? All of your best strategic moves that you could make now are pushed back a day. Also, your point of the final immunity winner having "too much power" is redundant considering that the person in power to choose who goes into the tiebreaker is the one wearing the immunity necklace. Survivor is way too reliant on twists instead of survival. End of story.

She had no gameplan whatsoever. Michael and Sebastian wanted to make a move against Dom-Wendall but she just blabbed it all out for no reason (not remembering they were the ones who backstabbed her earlier). She was like this 3rd grader who seeks out cool kids attention by telling dirt on her friends. Plus, she really believed in that navitistrong thing.

I feel like if the fire making stays a thing they should go back to the final 2 format. Final vote is at 4 (no idols allowed) And the final 2 is the final immunity challenge winner and the fire winner! That way we don’t have the final immunity winner literally picking the person they KNOW can’t win. Like seriously if we’re going to have a final 3 when one person isn’t going to even matter then let’s get that person on the jury!

Maybe in retrospect this’ll change strategy for who you pick if you win final immunity. Knowing the policy for a tie why not put Wendell up against Laurel so even if Wendell wins Angela is more likely to vote you in a tie. Of course this may be a bit too 4D chess to even think about 😂

I hate how previous players have lost to a jury full of sore losers. I hate the jury, as well as Millennials and their moms who think everyone deserves a trophy. It kills me to see these folks not know how to start a proper fire. KZbin has a ton of videos on all kinds of fire making. Watch them before going!

They obviously know what they’re doing here, Jeff kept commenting about the wind and how much harder it makes it. There is the social aspect of this game that makes it all the more interesting and you have to know what you’re doing and how to handle other people so the jury doesn’t screw you over at the end.
