I'm personally not a fan at all of the immature dick that alienates thyself from the tribe, takes things too personally, gets into fights and constantly threatens tribal and alliance cohesion, but too each his own, I guess.

I loved the Tocantins pre merge. It was fun seeing the exile island alliance grow and wondering if it would fall apart or succeed and run the post merge

it was so underwhelming. on a rewatch, knowing where the exile island alliance will go just makes you feel like the exile island scenes are a waste of time. I loved the post-merge tho.

I’ve often found it to be true that often times great seasons have rough pre merges. When the bad players/characters get voted out early it makes the pre merge boring but it ends up elevating the season as a whole.
