Literally every Rebecca i've met was ALWAYS a girl that for some reason looks like Rebecca IRL and they're either absolute gods at the game with no exception if they have the cowgirl costume or they're absolute potatoes if they have prestige or default, they're also usually very chill and kind. I like to draw in my freetime and have a few beers and i really love animals just as much as Jeff. I really really love a character like this in the game. Also i am super altruistic, even if i am on death hook i will rescue my friends even if it means that i dont escape.

As a Cheryl Main, I agree. I help teammates to escape rather than my own. I play a little of Alessa and James every once in a while, but as a stereotype? Ehh… I’m more of a meme goofy trolling type but have fun with teammates whenever they need to perk up and win the game; if that makes sense

I always got big brother vibes from Jonathan. He cares for his brother a lot. I felt like he filled the "babysitter" role better than Steve. Steve's just a big goofball. Also Jonathan gives off lone wolf vibes which arent always common for DbD survivors. But I'll admit half the reason he's my main is because his screams are amazing. #1 in game and I wont be convinced otherwise until a new better one comes out.

I think Steves are the most altruistic players, at least in my region. Bills and Leons on the other hand, are absolute babies who will crouchwalk towards you, hooked in the basement, in a distance of 500m. Pretty much the entire original 4 cast are either babies who live in lockers, or live in the killer's nightmares. Surprisingly I ran into a few baby Yun-Jins who likely bought the game solely for K-Pop, but I found some other extremely altruistic Yun-Jins (myself included) along the way. Hell, there was this one match where a Bill with no hooks left someone to die, and a Yun-Jin sacrificed herself to save them.

Some subgrouping for the Altruists: Leons will do something stupid and may or may not get away with it. They usually carry flashlights, Firecrackers or Styptics and try to use them in a ballsy way, to varying degrees of success. Bill and Sheva are more basic. They are reliable and well meaning, and will try their hardest even if it gets them killed. Cheryl is who Leon wants to be. She will do something insane, I‘m talking tanking a hit, unhooking with Resilience+Desperate and then hitting a frame perfect dead hard within the span of 2 seconds, and somehow get away with it most of the time. Sometimes they get their teammates killed for their own Insanity but when their setup works no one will ever forget that match

Na for me and my friends Bills are anomalies. See a bill afk with lethal pursuer and your about to turn a corner. Nope, he is gone without a scratch mark in sight. Plus Bills will just appear like out of nowhere when your chasing a different survivor.

I have never seen a survivor more likely to sell your soul for half a cent than Ada. I can't think of a single time an Ada put any effort to help a teammate when she could leave them to guarantee her own safety, no matter how safe the play would have been if she participated. Based solely on how I play Sheva (since i don't see others an can only draw from myself), she is here for violence. the killer might get her, but only after several burnt retinas and concussions

In my experience, leon is usually a baby, and Zarina and Elodie are usually only toxic in the onesies and otherwise tend to be more heroic. At least, Elodie anyway, I'm too biased as a Zarina main lol

For me, this is extremely accurate to how I would play as these survivors and my progression with the game. I started as a baby Dwight, learning the game and often not getting good results. I switched to Felix and mostly worked on gens. Now, I usually stick with Claudette, Ash, or Haddie (and others for achievements) and make sure everyone is healed (Claudette), run no mither to mess with everyone, (Ash) and be the bane of all boon players (Haddie). So, the stereotypes that you given are very accurate under my book.

Nea main here, stealth is my way of playing. 😊I will help others. But I mostly creep around in the background and get shit done. Cleanse totems, repair gens and avoid the killer. I always bring a med kit because I won't rely on other survivors. I some how manage to always unhook myself despite having no perk for that. For my perks I run balanced landing, urban evasion, light footed and kindred so I know where the killer is. Absolutely makes me nuts when other survivors run for no reason because, SCRATCH MARKS! But once that gate is open or I've opened it, I'm gone. I'm not going back in to unhook someone or heal someone or even get healed myself, I'm just gone.

I kinda agree with 3 of my mains (David, Cheryl, Nancy). That's the beautiful thing about David, that duality, but with him I also like taking protection hits when I can (if that helps someone). Also, for some reason I get way more angry when playing Nancy, to the point of sometimes getting passive-agressive towards killers. Don't know why and don't know why it doesn't happen with other mains. And I disagree with Yun Jin, I stumbled upon too many Yun Jins that are perfectly in character lorewise - they tend to sacrifice other survivors to escape alone. Either through giving up on unhooking when 2 survivors are hanging and 3rd is in chase or by getting stuff like bond and running with killer to other survivors if they happen to chase her. And about killers, I'm making my predictions and I'm curious how many of them will turn out to be what you think.
