fantastic tour friend. we also visited the same locations in july 2015 and again in july 2016. in the second visit we crossed the deosai and reached skardu. all the locations are worth watching. the heaven on earth. but u ppl visited in the snow when it was all white.

What is this window holder camera you're using? Another thing, did you take this Toyota Land-cruiser 89 to Rama Lake? is there local jeep option to go to Rama Lake? How much you paid for the Jeep and Driver? Was the driver familiar with pathways or you guided him? What time of year it was exactly? Lot of questions in one comment but that will help others :)

Sorry for replying so late. I was out from KZbin :D Camera is GoPro Hero3. Yes, We went to Rama lake in the same vehicle. There are local jeep options available from Astore Valley. The amount we paid for the jeep, I don't remember exactly but we hired it for total days we needed with the driver (who was our tour guide) and we kept our expense for fuel separate. I must say, the driver was very familiar with all routes, short cuts and everything we needed for the tour. We traveled in September. Thank you :)

Bro we went there in first week of September 2015 and it was the first snowfall of the season. So, we managed to somehow cross Deosai and It was very difficult for us to travel and there were no other visitors except us. I will not recommend you to go in Oct because it is very dangerous to travel in snow.

No, It was already closed when we went in September and we went there off season actually. Roads to Deosai are normally closed by the end of August.

Reeb Aly right, so you did great really, I appreciate. I wasn't able to reach the plains a few weeks ago. They were clearing the roads, so I decided to go on foot. unfortunately I wasn't able to go all the way and my guide insisted not to go until mid June.

Yes, June, July & August are the best months to visit Deosai but you wont find snow in these months. Deosai is green in these months.
