Susan is a pretty woman..when she came on AGT....she did not have the knowledge of how to dress or hair.. Knowing now has not changed her..but enhanced her and attributed to a healthier life...good grooming does affect self

Yes, Susan Boyle was apparently ridiculed by some idiots in her village before her fame. It was horrible, but it made her strong enough to face a hostile audience and the contempt of Simon without flinching. She is a legend.

One shot at a performance. One glorious moment in time. Susan says, "I'm gonna make that audience rock." Then walks out on stage and breathtakingly nails every second of it from start to finish. The audience is giving her a standing ovation within 30 seconds. Performance of a lifetime. I've watched this dozens of times - never fails to give me chills. Simply amazing!

Yep. Cameron Mackintosh was watching and said to himself that if she can hit that note ("... As they turn your dream to shame ..."). And she did. Good on her, living her dream.

I cry like a baby when i watch it but: doesnt make me feel good about humon behaviour at all.. The laughter of the audience and they make fun of her before she started makes me feel sad, in a way.. I love her voice and the way she is. A real personality with a golden voice. I love she DID sing together with Elaine Page. Thats what makes me happy, not the faces people make at her. What if she was a bad singer.. think about that...

I come here to watch this almost daily, after all these years--pure goosebumps. I still cannot believe she lost in the finals, but am so happy she became so famous--good people deserve good things to happen in their lives, and she is as down-to-earth as one can get. Much repsect for all your work, Ms. Boyle.
