Paul McCartney composed songs that are on par with GreenSleeves, Danny Boy and lots of other folk songs. They will be sung for centuries. I am just a nobody who lived in this era (1971-present) but I managed to take my 18y daughter to see him while he is still among us (Freshen up tour, payed front rows split monthly payments).
