This comment is 3 years late but... Susan was acting pretty silly too. EVEN THOUGH she didn't support Trump, for Sarandon to just say "screw this two party system, I'm voting for Jill Stein" is pretty ridiculous because 1.) a vote for Stein instead of Clinton inevitably aided Trump (however marginally) and 2.) one of two people (Clinton or Trump) *would be* elected in 2016. And one was, and was easily the most corrupt US administration since the 1800's. So I get being annoyed and posting a rant, especially if you're considered such an advocate an icon for LGBT rights.

While she did not say that she supported Trump, she absolutely said that "some" might feel Trump was a better choice than Hillary because his presidency would do more to hasten the "revolution." She had every right to demand a retraction because she clearly did not state that she supports Trump, but I found her comments objectionable and devoid of reason. Given her many comments about how much she disliked Clinton, I would be surprised if she was one of the "some" she talked about. She shouldn't have been surprised, nor feign ignorance when people took issue with her. I know nothing about the supposed feud with Debra. Messing might have been reacting to the headline as Susan claims and that would be very lazy of Debra. On the other hand she may have taken issue with Susan's comments the way we did and she would be completely justified. Sarandon is so petty and apparently still in denial about her comments during this interview that I really can't tell either way.
