I actually I was in prison with her, and what he's saying is 100% true, unfortunately. She also walks round with a chip on her shoulder, has TONS of simp mail coming in daily, and gets around 3,000.00 on her books per month. Quite disgusting, I must say. I believe in 2nd chances as a felon, obviously, but not with this one!

A mother murdering her own children because her love interest didn’t want children. Her husband would have taken Michael and Alex there’s no excuse. She robbed two beautiful children of life! I was pregnant when she did this I was inconsolable and until recently I couldn’t hear her name without shedding tears for Michael and Alex. No one should free her, the boys were found holding hands and buckled in that car. There are people who are turned on by the "bad boy/bad girl" persona. Also, it's relatively "safe" to pursue inmates by writing letters or making phone calls, all the while knowing that the inmate is not likely to get released. It's similar to the rationale of becoming involved with someone who is married. You KNOW deep down that they aren't going to leave their spouse for you, so you don't have to worry about dealing with them every day. You can live your fantasy with no strings.

A lot of people didn't think Leslie Van Houten shouldn't have been released, but her life in prison was very different. She appeared to make something of herself and did good work in prison for many years. SS should not be given parole unless there has been years of excellent behavior.
