Its amazing the contrast between her voice on and off stage. On stage shes a unbeliveable powerhouse. Off stage she speaks softly, with a little girl voice.

I was at this concert! Great show. WCBF started on the water front for the 1st couple years then moved to Fort Rodman, great venue with water on 3 sides. Over the years saw many big name acts. Unfortunately a couple years of bad weather caused the promoters to shut down. Big loss for the South Coast blues scene. 😢

Yes my friends and I organized those festivals, first few years were great but yeah a violent thunder and lightning storm happened right before Robert Cray came on one year and we never could draw many in shows after that. Thanks for supporting!

MVY radio and Bill Narkiewicz have been a driving force and support for the blues in this area. 👍 Another sad note, looks like after 30ish years (damn Covid) Onset Blues Fest will not be happening this year.
