I'm doing my best, but vocalists from abroad aren't as much in The Netherlands (where I am based) compared to DJs. I don't have a travel budget for these vlogs unfortunately and I want to do all interviews in person (so not via Skype / Zoom etc), so it is a bit harder to get interviews with non-Dutch vocalists.

We had a small cave in the school where I used to work, near the place where other teachers spent time during classes. Music was probably always on in our room, and we did not close the door which separated our place to the teachers'. Mostly it was trance, Armin and Paul van Dyk. Tried to find the melodic kind of songs, sometimes the acoustic versions, did not want to blast the trace songs which might be annoying to others. There was a block where multiple Susana songs were played. One of my colleague (English teacher) just bursted into the room and told us, she loves it, and how much she liked to come into the school even when she had no classes all day, because we were playing such beautiful songs. She asked for Susanna songs, because she found her voice out of this world. I could agree with her, and still can.

As a massive fan of Armin, my fav DJ by miles, if there's one track that stands out amongst the hundreds that he has brought out or colabrated with, the one track that stands out is the deserved no 1 choice of ASOT listeners "Shivers". Susana is a brilliant singer and artist and this track always lifts me up when i hear it. It's such a feel good track. Also, personally, i think it should be included in every set that Armin plays. Susana has the perfect voice for trance too, she's amazing and i love her personality.

Shivers was the first Armin van Buuren song I ever heard! I was 16 when it came out and it was a song I frequently replayed. This was about a year before I started learning how to DJ. Unfortunately, only Armin's name was listed as the artist instead of Armin van Buuren feat. Susana on the mix CD it was on (I believe it was Ultra.Trance 5), so I didn't know Susana sang Shivers until after I found out on Discogs (which is a VERY reliable source for information on releases). Once I did, I started following her closely as well. I think Dark Side of the Moon was also on that same CD too.

Wow, great to hear that "Rex Mundi feat. Susana - Nothing At All" is one of her favourites. I heard that track in one of the very early episodes of the A State Of Trance Podcast on KZbin and fell in love with it. How everything almost goes quiet and Susana starts singing, amazing. I don't see anyone mentioning her track Closer with Omnia & The Blizzard, so I just wanted to say that I also really like that collaboration.
