I was "missing" for a few hours when I was 14 (due to the school bus dropping me in the wrong place) in another county in Georgia and cops in 2 counties looked for me for hours until I was found. So I don't believe there's any law making them wait 48 hours, unless it's a newer law. But I also know how my parents were and they wouldn't have left the police alone if they didn't start looking for me right away

When he asked a question, she answered, but he's never satisfied, so he kept on asking that same question in different scenarios over and over. Why did he ask her if she ever found her daughter when he knew where her body was found? You can tell the lead detective is truly a beautiful person inside and out. Susana's Mom is recalling the exact moment she found out they found her, such a heavy, life-altering and heart-shattering moment, but, still in the middle of recalling this moment she smiles and points her head at Detective Angela when she says her name. The sweetest moment. These true crime cases are is so unreal - I can't believe things like this happen in real life and this isn't some kind of sick and twisted movie. I think about them for days on end after I watch them, but these are people's real lives. These losses will haunt their loved ones for life. So sorry she had to be with that hideous creep for the last moments of her life. She deserved to be at home with her family who clearly loved her dearly and she should STILL be there.
