PK was more concerned with holding Klubnik in in the pocket in the second half then applying pressure with the pass rush. There has to be more balance with getting pressure on a good quarterback. They can’t do the same thing with Dylan Gabriel if they meet him and let him sit back there as long as he wants until somebody gets open. He has to mix in a blitz periodically if the rush can’t get home.

19:17 imo that was a bad call on Sark not to kick the field goal on the first 4th. A missed field is less momentum change than getting stopped on a 4th. Idc it was one he needs to see it correctly and aggressive play wasn’t the answer. People gripe way too much on play calls bc it happens and he’s still one of the best in CFB. Some times it’s on players more than fans want to admit but those points in big games you take. It wasn’t even in the right hash that Auburn has been missing either

I like Manny. That being said he was shook. Watching him in the stadium allowed me to see how many times he missed initial contact and got smoked off the line. That was a bad night for him. Big learning lesson

Clemson receivers was making great catches and ball was put in spots that was great! Secondary was covering and there fighting without penalties. Gilbioux had sack too. This not first time Clemson oc been against PK

You guys do a great job analyzing play on both sides of the LOS. But, every week there are many questionable coaching decisions. Have you given any thought to grading overall coaching by the Texas staff in a game, or would that get you in trouble with Sark and the staff?

In order to grade coaches, one has to be first of all a coach, has studied the opponent films, and has in depth knowledge of the health and current playing status of own players. If so, fire away please.

Totally agree on linebacker play and mistakes especially Anthony Hill. He also failed to contain and pressure Klubnik a few times on the spy - he actually seemed a bit slow watching in person.

@ that was a point OTF made to actual show where one great stat can mask a more important responsibility such as two obvious missed coverages and of course the QB - sure he made a tackle but 8 yards too late.

What's with all this Oregon talk? Hell, have we played a game that I didn't see? Who is to say that OSU won't beat Oregon anyway and we still have to get by Arizona State first. Clemson may be a blessing in disguise for us. At least the coaches and players have plenty of film to work with to get better. These guys will get it together. No pass rush in the second half didn't help at all.

Whoever thought Oregon wasn’t gonna do something like this is crazy to begin with Gerry. I think you knew this and should say this. Yeha we’re not as good as Georgia defense in 2021 or 22. Can’t remember but Ohio State beat up on them in playoffs. That doesn’t mean Georgia had a bad defense. See I expect more than that from an info standpoint. Yes it was a good wake up call and Gilbeau was always the weak link of the secondary all year. Doesn’t mean he’s not good. It doenst mean Texas defense isn’t good. I’m tired of the freak out especially from fans. Also Give credit to Dabo and Klubnik. Klubnik played the best game of his career too. Let them have their shine. He came to compete and did good. He threw at least 10 dimes. I’m not upset about the grades and don’t care either. Also the coaches should be tough on them. That’s life and I’m not sure if that was said in this video but I heard the reaction video and it’s definitely an overreaction. Which again feeds fans that freak out when they just think the best teams in the country in today’s games are gonna be played in a 10 to 10 ball game great defense. It’s not how the game is played today

I would give the play calling a "C". Keep running the ball when they can't stop the run. Sark tries to get too cute too often and overthinks the play calling. The failed 🤘🤘4th down play in the 4th quarter should have been another Quinn handoff to Gibson. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Lefau is the Leader on that defense better linebacker and leader then Ant hill, although hill has best athleticism probably on the entire defense hes a see ball get ball guy but we also need to balance that out with a kuechly (Play assignment football as a linebacker, and then attack womerhing if he sees it). 2 times they took out liona lefau clemson scored.

lol sounds good but not true at all. Texas cant even take Hill off the field or he wouldn’t be playing 100 percent snaps every game. Clemson had a good game plan. You can’t spy and play zone as a Linebacker. There will be holes. Lefau is a good backer but he is not the player Hill is. The drop off after Hill down to down is deep. Texas need more bodies.

Clemson has great receivers and Cade played out of his mind. The problem was he was all they had. I think the defense played well but by far, they had their worst game.

Clemson ran screen against defense that sees screams all time in practice Lafau sniffed that out quick. Lb keep qb run under control over last 10 years watch qbs run all over us I love not letting that happen

Secondary can be beat but only by elite qb play w the clutch gene. We know what Gabriel can do to us. I’d rather see Ohio state once we deal with asu
