Yes for people who think cycle are the only thing that matters think the Break team is Mid AF yes the first run was almost 3 cycles but on the flip side i watched a mostly F2P team setup (RM and wanked gear aside) basically Stunlock I'm assuming the MoC 12 lineup with such ease, instead of these super Sweat Lords having an aneurysm over a unit because it does 6.4% more Damage in this imaginary situation letting you save one cycle.

I've said it since the first time I saw HMC (and RM) break teams and I'll say it again: This shit is just the Hyperbloom of HSR. Mfs will go on and on about how it's underwhelming because it's bad for speedrunning, and Vape/Spread/whatever is a better team because of it, but the ease of building Break Effect, much like just stacking EM and having Electro/Hydro/Dendro not caring about anything else, is going to allow a lot more players to clear MoC 12 than we have rn. Not giving a fuck about anything other than BE and SPD already makes this an even simpler team to build than a DoT team, which is largely considered one of the easiest teams to gear.

@@yanxii1527 still, you can pretty much have a 100% uptime. Some harmony unites even with you spamming the heck out of the skills, it takes 2 circles to get your ult back. It's mostly bc harmony trailblazer has a trace that lets them get extra energy everytime you break an enemy - regardless of who does it.

Honestly after having watched a bunch of videos of these types of teams, I think the coolest thing is seeing Gallagher put out extremely respectable damage while still managing to both heal and generate SP almost as well as my Luocha does. I'm so happy that Trailblazer is relevant in endgame again.

Could you test a Guinafein team? I haven't seen a gameplay yet using her as break and she has several advantages over other units people are testing. For example she has access to herta light cone, she has break effect traces, her skill is blast, her burst AOE with decent toughness break, and her firekiss should amplify the damage from breaks too for the team.

Please, could you do a test with boothill focused 100% on breaking (without caring about the critical substatus), trying to get 23%+ break effect on all relics, paying only attention to breaking and speed. I think it could be something very viable, if not the most interesting, since all boothill damage focuses almost entirely on breaking.

Actually crit break hydrid build. I just dont want to post those stats since some ppl keep making a fuss about unrealistic, unrelatable or "impossible to get" stats. Basically it's the best scenario your char can get when upgrading relics (for example your DPS's chest piece have main stat as crit dmg, sub stats: atk%, speed, crit and break eff, all enhance rolls will go into crit and atk%), it's really hard to get in normal server (unless you use your whole life of luck, but i do know some ppl still can get it tho). In short, you still can get those build in normal server but need alot of luck. So to avoid argument in comment i have to put disclaimer and will not post their stats.

To be honest, i dont think Sushang is a good dps for break team unless you build your team around her (for example Sushang + 3 supports like what i did in first showcase of this video), but even so her dmg still mid compare to other break dps such as Boothill or Xueyi. She still can work as sub dps to deplete enemies toughness bar just like second showcase tho. Overall you still can play her but it wont be as good as other break dps that we currently have and are about to have. So if you really want to play break team just wait for boothill, dont invest too much on Sushang, if you still want to build her then i think 150+ BE should be enough since HMC and Ruan Mei's buff give alot of BE.

Seems much more useful for players to gauge a character's aproximate strength; and it would seem to me that's the main reason for people to watch showcases for upcoming characters, instead of just raw entertainment which is what these "unrealistic" showcases tend to amount to.

It's kinda hard to play break team without Ruan Mei because she is core for this team. Ofc you can still play break team without her but it is likely to be less effective, just use any char that has corresponding element to the enemies weakness.

The tldr is that it allows break damage to be done everytime a broken enemy is hit.

Super break is given by the Trailblazers ult. It does dmg based on the toughness the attack would have done plus break effect. It only happens when the enemy is currety broken.

@@Airitzu it won't be amazing dmg but atleast high b tier personal dmg I fear. The only thing keeping him in my opinion is he is slower than Sushang and Boothill bc they both can advance their actions forward in some way. Luka just has the added benefit of being able to apply a big bleed if he is the one breaking.
