We are in a ticking time bomb... while it seems as if it will never be worse than this... thing is actually we are in a boom... remittance boom...due to demographics .. hence we have speculated on lands and with that we have inflated our land prices to enjoy imports with the use of dollars from remittance... This has made easy for many middle class to go abroad or "study" abroad... and this has made easy for us to import anything here... But we all know party don't last forever and we won't enjoy this forever...we will eventually get old and someday there will come a time when incoming ppl will exceed than outgoing ppl... which will affect our dollar reserve... ani what after that... BOP crisis... health cost will rise through the roof... with currency devaluating...all hell will follow... Many simply have no clue nor there is any debate on this issue... what will happen when our source dries up...

@@bbjr9406Sri Lanka was already a developing country with much higher GDP than Nepal. As such, its credit ratings were much higher and it got access to much higher amount of international loans. Come COVID, much of the source of the nation's income dwindled because of no tourism. Nepal will never be in a situation of Sri Lanka per se, as Nepal doesn't even have the credibility to get that amount of loan....hahaha
