Aenne, not sure if you know about this already, sorry if you do, but important since you're going to be eating plenty of street food: We don't have the same social customs as America when it comes to food. Small example, do not walk and eat, and also do not eat or drink on the train (unless food is specifically served). If you get some e.g. yakitori, karaage, takoyaki, taiyaki, or even just a choco banana, it is a good idea to also find somewhere to sit. Standing is fine to drink, but basically only if you stay near the vending machine. Also, a related matter, do not expect to find plenty of disposal bins, and so expect to carry your trash with you.

Love to see you guys are playing on Board Game Arena! It’s worth clarifying though that this version of the game is called “Sushi Go!”. “Sushi Go Party” is the sequel that adds a ton of new cards 🍣

Yay, I love Board Game Arena, glad to see you guys playing games here and excited to see more. You may well already know these but Stella (kinda similar to Dixit), Tokaido (relevantly about a trip through Japan), and Concept (kind of like Charades or Catchphrase but instead you're putting tokens beside symbols on a board to convey the answer) are a few games I like that they have. The sashimi misunderstanding definitely held Ash back a bit earlier on, I was glad to see him realize that later. Sushi Go definitely is a game where it always takes me a moment to remember what the different cards are and how they work, and I think in some ways it's actually harder online where the game display is really cute but also smaller, including the cards themselves, so it's easy to overlook those details. Would also watch more of this game as well.

Love seeing y'all play more board games. Sushi Go is a pretty common play around here with my family. Another game with similar mechanics (draw and pass) that my family also likes but is a bit more in depth than Sushi Go is 7 Wonders. Pretty sure it's on BGA. The learning curve for that one is steeper, but then plateaus once you've played a few rounds.

Love Sushi Go! great to see you all play this! I found this game years ago while traveling in the US in a game shop, the only reason I bought it was it's about sushi. 😆Still love to play it every chance I get.

you actually only played Sushi Go! and not Sushi Go Party! which is in my opinion miles better, since you get wildly different and amazing sushis with different effects and strategies
