I honestly thought the screenshot was a huge stack of pancakes. Either way, awesome video! To answer your question, it’s always fun to watch someone else’s perspective on things you’re familiar (or extremely unfamiliar) with. I haven’t eaten meat in almost two decades but I still love watching these types of videos. I’ll watch whatever you put out!

In California, most sushi restaurants still serve Japanese style nigiri sushi, in addition to the fancy rolls. I initially thought that salmon and cheese was salmon with cream cheese (Philly Roll.) Plus I love green tea/matcha, so that's nice they let you put as much as you'd want. (I'd probably go nuts on the tea powder like in Eric's green tea farm video...)

Just so happens I was eating at Sushiro last week and was thinking "wouldn't this be a great place for an Eric meal time?!" And for the contest...TheDude needs to cover all the Japanese stuff in Cali! Like, go to a Mitsuwa or kaitenzushi near where you live and just eat stuff. And surfing stuff too! Maybe two guys in a suit, one in Japan, one in Cali, both surfing and on the phone talking to each other? (or maybe that's too corny?)

The sushi in usa i have had is never fresh and it is more expensive. Japan's sushi tastes like candy in comparison. It's pretty sad. I have never been to California though.

rainbowdice713 is it the raw fish that puts you off? When I first tried sashimi, I didn’t particularly like it either (same with wasabi). I love it now. You don’t have to eat rolls with raw seafood - bbq eel is very tasty!

They have 2 Kura Revolving Sushi locations here in Dallas. All regular plates are $2.50. The plates have special covers and they stay busy, so everything is fresh. My favorite is the scallop with mayonnaise, and any of the salmon dishes.
