I literally begged him to find you and tell him I watch your videos all the time! At first I hated Japanese food because you know. But when I started watching your videos I wanted to eat sushi and tempura and things like that. You are really an inspiration and I would love to have a get some snack pack! Keep up the good work. the purpose of the fast for an individual to realize how poor people live without food. when u fast, no matter how rich you are, you are equal. there is no rich or poor no black, no white.then you pity who are lower than you and that my friend reduces hatred towards others.

Do u know what's funny? I had never tried sushi before watching ur videos and got a pre wrapped package at our local big chain grocery store just to try it. I figured it wouldn't be too fresh since I live in Ohio but we have Honda of America motorcycle plant here so I thought it wouldn't be too bad. Anyway I never had wasabi before either so I put just a little on my fish and it took my breath away literally. Omg it was soooo hot. My nose started running and everything. I don't know how u taste ur food with the hot stuff. I would think it would block u ur taste buds.

seankoro I think it's a question of the kind of restaurant. like the higher class restaurants would frown on it, and the really high class one wouldn't even give you wasabi or soy sauce, and you're expected to only eat what is given to you.
@mackiedaren595
@mackiedaren595 7 жыл бұрын
It's depends on you and the food. I saw Japanese mixed wasabi with shoyu to put on top of Don or the bowl of rice top with Sashimi. Sometime, they don't serve wasabi to you. Sometime, put wasabi with shoyu to dip dip the noodle. Sometime, you can eat anyway you want. For me, I don't like mixing them together because it's gonna be a boring taste. I like it with and without wasabi sometime.

What I find so interesting is a follow up to a previous comment I made on another video. We here in the gulf of Maine export a massive amount of uni to japan as we have an overpopulation of urchins. Which means, when I have it in a restaurant, it’s always fresh. They have a massive tank of urchin and crack them open as you order them. And because it’s not common for the average American palate. It’s cheap. To me, first bite always takes me to a time when you’re just getting to the ocean and can smell it. Tastes like the smell of the ocean!

As I watch this, I am waiting for my wife to bring home some sushi from the Yamato Japanese restaurant in Corydon, Indiana. My fav is the spicy tuna roll. Eric, drinking 4 shots of sake on an empty stomach will cause you to throw caution to the wind and tell us what sea urchin really tastes like. I gotta try sea urchin if I can ever find it in the Louisville, Kentucky area.
