We always try to find a balance of special experiences and just plain fun everyday things with them! 😊
Wow, great piece of information!! We need to have more ginger, because right now we don’t love it we much! But maybe we could acquire a taste for it! :) thanks for sharing!

Love my Sundays with y'all. I'm really slow this Sunday, but this video made my day! Love seeing y'all try different foods and seeing the sushi selections!!! Wow! And I understand the fish is super fresh! The girls are growing up so fast and eat so well (wide selection). My boys were great eaters too. They would try anything! 😂. Have a great week ❤️

They claim that there is no additive at Kura Sushi, which is a plus. You can use gari(ginger) as brush to put soy on sushi.

Yes we have, but we might not have ordered the best- idk because we didn’t really enjoy it! 😬😩
Yes we need to do that haha! Normally we do but here we couldn’t find the small plate!

How does the restaurant know what food you've eaten in order to charge you at the end?
@OurStorytoTell7 күн бұрын
The iPad keeps track + when you put the plates in the spot then it adds it to the total. The plates are different sizes/styles depending on the cost! :)

@OurStorytoTell So you never actually interact with a human server? And I suppose payment is by credit card, so no contact there, either. Bit impersonal, but super efficient!

This is udon not ramen.

True! She calls it ramen but we knew that actually! Thanks for clarifying!
Oh interesting, we will have to try that next time! 😋

12:02 I'm somewhat dubious about sushi. I've never eaten it, and I don't know if I would like it much. Cold rice! Raw fish!

You have to give it a try :)

@OurStorytoTell Lidl in England has introduced some fascinating and tasty looking snack packs of sushi coming up to Christmas when all the supermarkets are competing on snack foods. I was looking at them last week and thought they looked really good and unusual for Lidl. So, today when I go shopping, I will buy a pack. They're not cheap! There are, if I remember rightly, three different flavours: shrimp, chicken, or tuna. I'll post back here what I found.

@@OurStorytoTell I've now tried the Lidl dragon rolls today. These were teriyaki flavour cooked salmon. They weren't horrible, but they were not tasty enough for me to want to buy them again. Maybe sushi prepared in a Japanese restaurant is a whole different experience.
Thanks for the feedback. This is something we talk a lot about actually. We are more concerned about our kids than filming. It’s rare we do food videos because our kids are at a stage where they require more attention. They are kids though, and we don’t have the support around us to have them be watched every time we film. So, if we want to film, then we understand that it is going to take longer to ensure their needs are met first, and that our video will include them talking and interrupting too! They are kids :)
