It's Amihan season that's why it's cold and there are even areas in Cordillera that is -1 degrees. That zigzag road in Quezon is called Bitukang Manok .

I never knew before it can get this cold in the Philippines!! The first time I experienced it was when we first visited Banaue and Sagada last year. The coldest I felt there was 9 Celsius. Getting negative 1 is crazy 😱 I would truly feel like I'm back in Hungary haha

We prefer to travel on motorcycle as we realized it's way more immersive this way! We did some trips with car when my friends and family were here but it's not the same. But I'm sure we will switch to a car sometimes in the future 😊

There's a beautiful resto in Tiaong Quezon. Ugu Bigyan's pottery studio n resto. Wonder if it's still there. I remember going there with the fam from Manila just to eat lunch

Because you like suman and kakanin,you must try patupat,found only in Baguio, Pangasinan and La Union,that basket in Laguna reminded me of it.

@SusieinthePhilippines that's my favorite because it is cooked w/ sugarcane...remember, it looks like a mini version of that basket,it is found here in Baguio. But it's plenty outside the Manaoag church in Manaoag Pangasinan.

i wonder if there are residential places near forests that are close to town, too. i would think they'd all be pretty far but at least you have a motorcycle. maybe some place outside Baguio but near the border...or MAYBE along the BUDA road (between Davao and Bukidnon) but closer to the cities otherwise, it would be near a pretty small town that wouldn't have much.

I think you can settle for a year or two in siquijor as your homebase as it is a very safe place to live and clean...you can do lots of things there and it's also very easy to travel with your scooter and pixel thru ferry vessel from siquijor to nearby island provinces like negros,panay,cebu,bohol and even dapitan city, dipolog and the whole zamboanga peninsula
