“For the army to investigate the army.” Yes, definitely a conflict of interest. I’m not one to say we as a country enforce rape culture but in some obscure pockets, especially in the military, it is quite real. Aren’t female soldiers more likely to get assaulted or rape than die of enemy fire?
@cryora4 жыл бұрын
If that statement is true, then that is the same as saying that the Army is incapable of policing itself. I was in a shitbag platoon when I was in AIT, so I'm aware of what can become the culture when you put a lot of testosterone, unruly and arrogant people in one room, and you have NCO's incapable of stopping misbehavior, but actually encouraging it via mass punishment and giving the shitbags recognition, attention and dopamine hits. Part of the reason for "mass punishment" is really just deflecting responsibility onto the lower enlisted to police each other, and take the blame when they fail.

What’s sad is that my sister is also in the military and she’s always mad about the fact that soldiers/leaders always say “it’s your word over mine!” in an intimidating way, meaning that if Vanessa was found earlier... I don’t think they’d believe her 😔 The US Army has failed us once again. 🥺

Jocelyn Diaz if so, your sister needs to protect herself. She should document everything that is happening especially with her chain of command. Also tell her to get counseling and report any harassment to EEO and her first sergeant. I’m retired military 23 years. No woman should have to put up with it.

Yes! Go to my community tab and check out my prediction before they found her body and after. Aron was an honorable soldier. He was framed an killed. This man feared for his life after discovering what they did to her. He did not commit suicide, they killed him. The Bush Administration needs to put some respect on it and stop disrespecting the dead. Everyone is too emotional and not using your logic. The government always kills their eye witness. The higher up's (Sargent) and Administration on base have been killing more soldiers before Aron was even in the picture. Most of the soldiers they killed were eye witnesses and ethnic.
